Yes, he was never charged in the first place, which means even less evidence of a crime.
If there was evidence, he would have been charged.
I do believe that a Judge has ruled twice in this regard.
Aruban law is basically no body, no case. This is not so in US. They let him go because no body washed up on the beach or any parts of her remains. There is nothing to prove or disprove his statement other than circumstancial evidence. The US has tried cases on less circumstancial evidence.....look at the S. Peterson case. It just depends on what the Arubans have and what the US feels is enough.
I really think the judge in charge had had enough of GG and the bad press he brought to the island and sent him home to let the US authorities deal with him. If there is enough they will. If not, we'll will never know the truth. jmo
