Sorry Dushi - I think I'll pass on the interview with Baez's buddy!!

But if anyone watches - please let us know if anything else is said that's different from before!!! :great:

I'll watch that train wreck - but I'll have wine first to dull my senses.

vERDICT.

The fact of this tragedy is that Giordano's claim that "Robyn wanted me to be her benficiary" is absurd. He most likely did not ask her. If he is faxing the forms in, or filling in the forms on line... OK, we can believ that the insurance, like the triop came in a package deal. However, why would he not ask her who her benny would be... and when he is in this position... thinking about his kids... thinking about money that would be given to benficiarties, it is at this pooint that he must have come to the realization that :
a. Kill her, and get the money.
b./ Make a deal and split the monye with a loca.

I firmly believe that he had help, and that she was taken somehow. It is unreal to think that not even the tanks surfaced. Sharks are picky eaters.

Verdict: Part II.

Yes, he created a world where if any thing happened to her... he would be be the benny. He woke up each morning with this on his mind. Although he is human, and has little intelligence... he has enough to know that we would get him for filing the insurance.
Thus, "It would have to be done in a way that could be believable." No, let's not snorkle in front of the hotel with other people, other novice snorklers.. let's pretend we are profession.als... and go to baby beach... with nasty currents... and I'll where my reebocks. He is guilty. If he were smart he would fire Baez.

How many "exclusive" interviews does one do before they are no longer considered "exclusive"?

Two?

I suppose just by changing the content and doing one per day it would be exclusive.

I believe he did say so on the GMA program. Every program he answers questions on will eventually trip him up. He is lying. Even if we caught him in one lie anything he would have to say would then be questionable. People don't lie about events unless they are hiding something. jmo

Radaronline and dateline refer to his earlier statements about rough water.

With a lawyer like Baez, we can safely assume GG has been advised to lie, lie and lie some more, to change his story frequently and to never say the same thing twice. I cannot believe that Florida makes morally corrupt people like Baez lawyers, but now that it's a fact, we can expect far more lawyers that advise their clients to lie during their 15 minutes of fame.

Not quite true, bald women are inclined to get the most attention.
I am a brunette and I get a lot of attention, far more than any blondes.

And ... while we're on the topic ... those blue eyed blond haired Dutch can't be all that much of a hit on the Netherlands Antilles Islands, like Aruba.

When your name is Jose Baez having just beaten <mod snip> Linda Drane Burdick, Jeff Ashton and the majority of the media, every interview is an exclusive.

i just watched the nightline report linked earlier in the thread and a few things caught my attention:

1) GG said that day on the beach he and RG were "in sight" of others on baby beach... yet when he realized RG wasn't there he went to none of these people for help?

2) and none of these people have come forward to say they saw this couple on the beach/in the water? or saw GG looking frantically and shouting for RG?

3) GG said he had to "run around" looking for someone at the reef bar... that video never once shows him running lol

many discrepancies!!

he does say re: the insurance there was no way to "unselect" (not uncheck) RG off the American Express insurance. has anyone here ever purchased AE travel insurance who can prove/disprove this?

Yes. I take "exclusive" to mean it's not a press conference, the interview is exclusive to that one media outlet.

As I understood it, while they sat on the rocks he saw others - then, when he came ashore the people had left. I would call what he did "running around". It's just a phrase, and to me he looks like a man on a mission.

The prosecutor in Aruba has said that GG told many obvious lies, but that it was not possible to charge him with murder ... yet. It appears to be the same situation the prosecutor's office faced with in the disappearance of Ms Holloway.

I agree! "keep talking"!!! But we all also know that most of these people doing the interviews DON'T ask the questions WE want them too either!! LOL!

also...

:welcome4: Lollipop

Niner, you're 100% correct. Maybe we need to email our questions to the people doing the interviews!!

LC is very familiar with the island...as am I. Perhaps she's basing it on her experiences there...which I can attest to as well.

I wasn't questioning LC's expertise (or yours), but unless she has designed and conducted a formal survey, she can only speculate that "every" Aruban would pay special attention to a blond woman.

Yes, I've been to countries where blond hair is uncommon and I know it attracts attention (even when it's on my own head and I'm not a woman).

Nonetheless, "every" can only be speculation.

Oh, please. Advising a client to lie can get a lawyer disbarred. The actual process is far more subtle than what you describe. (The end result may still be lies, but defense lawyers don't say to a client, "Lie every time you are asked a question and keep changing your story."

In fact, such an instruction is not only likely to get an attorney disbarred (the first thing most clients do after a conviction is blame their lawyers), but is also likely to get their clients convicted. Inconsistent statements are often the most difficult hurdle that defense attorneys have to overcome.

you're right... people do use "run" when they don't mean that exactly ie. i have errands to "run".

another thing that i noticed was that GG said he bought the insurance in case he "disappeared"*. who thinks like this when they buy travel insurance? i would think people do this in case of injury or death... and it seems to me he's trying to cover his tracks/make excuses/justify his purchase in hindsight considering the outcome. just seems if he wanted to make RG disappear and receive the insurance money, this was the perfect set-up/justification for the insurance purchased.

(*can this be explained or justified sole-y b/c he knew about natalee's case and he too was going to aruba? IDK)

When your name is Jose Baez having just beaten the living daylights outta Linda Drane Burdick, Jeff Ashton and the majority of the media, every interview is an exclusive.

JB got lucky, what were the odds he'd be blessed with a jury whose main concerns were pretzels and Disney movies? Linda Burdick is a class act - she's Jeopardy and he's Are you smarter than a fifth grader.

Maybe because my grandchildren and friends are blond that I notice they get far more attention from the native Arubans. Years ago an owner of a famous restaurant in Aruba came flying across the airport lobby area to give my grandson a hug goodbye. I had noticed her while we were having dinner a few nights before and she stopped at our table to talk. My grandson was 2 years old at the time and had blond curly hair. She was the first one I heard say how much Arubans love blond hair. After that I noticed that what she had said was pretty much true. But you can say the same for here in the US. Did I conduct a formal survey.....no.....I pay attention. When blond hair is on a woman men pay attention......not so much when the blond is a male. It's just a fact. I stand corrected though about every Aruban, you are correct....let's just say that every male pays attention to the blonds and that is everywhere. jmo

http://insidedateline.msnbc.msn.com/

No full transcript yet.... and the juice statement is not on this short version

A couple of pages back, I posted links to parts 1-6 of the program ... the juice statement was in there. I don't believe that he was drinking juice. He's lying about many things, including the juice ... and the only reason for lying about the juice is to avoid having the insurance claim thrown out on the basis of Robyn being under the influence of alcohol and prescriptions when she disappeared. Baez is probably representing him for the purpose of trying to get the 1.5 million in insurance ... and I sure hope that fails.

Who will disbar him? He can't legally represent GG, he is not an attorney in MD, nor is he a Federal Attorney. lol I think right now JB is just a PR man for GG. Not even sure what he is doing is legal claiming to be his attorney when there is no lead attorney from MD advising GG. Let's just hop around the country and practice law. The man ego is getting the best of him. jmo
