There are a lot of videos that have been released. Seeing her all dressed up with her hair and make up done, wearing a long floral dress, drinking vodka all afternoon, all of that leads me to disbelieve his story that she went snorkeling willingly.

There are a lot of interviews with him where he goes into great detail. I count those as facts as he knows them or believes them or wants us to believe.

There is the video that shows him immediately after the incident. I was a lifeguard in high school. I know what someone looks like when they are missing someone in the water. They wave and scream and are very excited.
He on the other hand, was walking leisurely, and making no noises, not yelling for any help/ His excuse was weak. " There was no one there." Well then why was he knocking on the doors? He could have yelled HELP from the beach and gotten some help most likley.

Given that a witness says he saw them leave and not go into the water, I too believe she never went snorkelling

I don't know how he should behave given the fact that his travelling partner just disappeared ( according to him) but the thing that gets me is the pristine running shoes
Highly unlikely he was swimming and running through the sand in them when they were wet

I believe he was aware of the time the restaurant closed. he was there the day before.

And when I say facts, I guess I am referring to facts of evidence reported by LE

They do not all lie about innocent people, accusing them of incest and child abuse , in order to set their guilty client free.

My father, God rest his soul, was a wonderful defense attorney. He was quite successful and quite well respected, even by prosecutors. Reason being, he had integrity and was honest and forthright. So Baez, in comparison, makes me sick.

In GG's case, Baez is acting more like a PR guy.He sits next to him on the media blitz, and tries to steer him clear of his own mistakes. Too late for that, imo.

I can't debate you about JB, I simply don't know

It is common "whilst in the water" to scream and wave for help, how do you know he did not?
The video shows a man under duress, clearly trying to get attention by knocking on the doors even though it has been said he appeared calm or not frantic, his movements show different.

The pathetic little man beat the living daylights out of the prosecution.
So much for being pathetic.

Not really. The jury was made up exclusively of people who did not read the news, listen to the news or watch the news. They were apathetic and self involved. Baez lied in his opening statement, and accused the father of incest and child rape. The ignorant jury accepted that lie and it was over. Baez can be proud of that if he wants, but it is an empty victory. He is now stuck with a guilty, soul less child killer. I think it was a perfect outcome, imo. They deserve each other. And yes, he is pathetic. Watching him try and make GG look innocent is even more pathetic.

Because he said he didn't. That's why. He said he did not call out to her, or even look back at her. He did not call for help, because according toi him, there was nobody there.

What video were you watching that 'clearly show he is under duress?' His movements were slow and calm. Not urgent.

In the video where he is knocking on doors: Do I see him wearing white socks? and has anyone seen his equipment and the police reports from Aruba? Human trafficing is his new option for her dissappearance? I dont know whether to laugh or sigh...hummm

I just noticed his shoes are leather type reboks or the like...you DONT take those in the water

BEM: lol right? I mean, where were the abductors? Did he miss them hovering over them in an aircraft and dropping their ladder to snatch her up??? Hilarious - how could anyone even suggest it given his initial scenario of what happened?

If charges were brought they would be either in Federal Court or the State of Maryland. JB is not licensed to practice in any other state but Florida. jmo

Jose Baez will feature very prominantly in the defense of the released man and taking into account Jose Baez's tenacity, and the fact that there is no evidence, the chances are that Mr Baez will secure a non conviction, but it is doubtful it will even go to court based on the hearsay evidence thus presented.
The only evidence that has been forthcoming is dominated by talking heads giving their take on the case.

There are almost two hours unaccounted for if you believe the witnesss
I simply can't figure out any reason for the fisherman to lie

So, if I believe the witness, I can't believe Gary
he says they were swimming while fisherman saw them leave the beach

At no time has he addressed this, he has never said they left and came back (as far as I can remember)

My question has always been, where were their cell phones? She had one, and he had one - and NO ONE is going to convince me they took them in the water with them. He knocked on those doors because he knew there were cameras - just like the ones he has at his own house.

So what you are saying is that you believe selective parts of his story?
If he lies, why is this not also a lie?

Aruba wants a conviction, the fishermen are Aruban.

:floorlaugh::great::floorlaugh: You do realize the talking heads are talking, non-stop, to his current money maker, right?

I don't know what will happen in Maryland in the future, but at the moment he is still a free man

They are either waiting to press some sort of charges or it is all hearsay evidence

I would think if the signature on the insurance forms were forged, he would have been arrested
FBI has had that information for almost four months

Because this particular statement is not self serving. It shows how selfish he is. But of course, it is a lie, because they did not go snorkeling at all.

Aruba, who happens to have far more information than we do, think he is guilty, so yes, they do want a conviction

It would have been much simpler for Aruba if they could have proved a sad but simple drowning

Yes, at a cost and filling his coffers.

I think they were very familiar with the area

With all their information, they have failed to get a conviction, what does that tell us?

It tells me that they do not have enough evidence to press murder charges
I feel they struggled to find evidence, but they couldn't
They do feel strongly that GG is involved in more than a snorkel accident, thats apparent.

I have waffled back and forth on his guilt/innocence since the first week

But when I look at some of the known facts, I can't settle with this being an accidental drowning
