THIS

Police in Aruba are searching for the people in this white car who they believe could provide the testimony that helps charge murder suspect Gary Giordano with the killing of American tourist Robyn Gardner.

Officers have released the security camera image of the small white car driving away from where the missing 35-year-old was last seen over a month ago in the hopes of finding more witnesses in the case.

BECAME THIS

In a sensational breakthrough in the disappearance of ROBYN GARDNER, Aruba police have two witnesses who saw a vio*lent attack on a woman who looked like the Maryland beauty, which they believe ended in her death.

AND THEN THIS

The National Enquirer’s Oct. 10 story quoted an anonymous source who said that two witnesses told police they saw Gardner fighting with her travel companion, Gary Giordano of Gaithersburg, and then saw him bury her alive in a dog grave.

Other media have now republished the information, citing the Enquirer.

But Stein said police did not hear this from any witnesses.

Stein made a public statement saying there were no such witnesses
I believe there is no truth to it at all
There are either witnesses or there are not

If it is an Island rumor, I think Stein ended the speculation with his above comment

And yes, it is an add on to the original story, which Stein says never happened, no witnesses

JMO

Oh, I totally agree. I'm just saying that this may be where the media picked it up....just a local rumor and we know how that can get started. It went from them possibly being spotted to him burying her alive.

But I do have a question. Didn't the dogs search that area???? Why would they bother if it were just a rumor? I remember seeing a video with the dogs but I'm not sure whether they searched that area or not. jmo

The dogs arrived from the Netherlands last weekend and will search for the body of 35-year-old Robyn Gardner, Solicitor General Taco Stein told The Associated Press. The search will focus on a southeastern section of the island known as Seroe Colorado.

They planned to focus their search in a southeastern section of the island known as Seroe Colorado, not far from where 35-year-old Robyn Gardner of Frederick, Maryland, was reported missing on Aug. 2 by Gary Giordano, her travel companion.

The search took a long time
They searched the whole area

Whatever GG did to Robyn, we just don't know if it involved blood loss or not. Plus, we have no reason other than GG's claims, which are all entirely suspect imo, to believe that this location in the Nanki beach area was even the actual scene of the crime. JMO

We also don't know if GG did anything sinister to Robin, that is also mere speculation.

Most of it is speculation which is why it is important not to get rumor mixed up and presented as fact

The rumors are not just local Aruban rumors, it would appear that the majority of these rumors are eminating stateside and fueled by the media eager to create stories for ratings and then picked up by the forums and embellished.

Yes, like the articles in National Enquirer

There was the one about the big fight in the hotel Lobby... never happened and if it did, there is no video to prove it as per LE

The white car was in the area of the beach/bar, where she was last seen, as per LE

There was no burial witnesses at he dog graves, per LE

THE SEARCH for missing beauty Robyn Gardner was ramped up yesterday when a team of cadaver dogs searched through cactus and brush on the gorgeous holiday isle of Aruba.

Oh my, this is a quote from that article. GG must have done something to tick Taco off. Mr. Stein does not sound like he liked GG at all. I'd say it was something a little more than being arrogant. Pretty strong term coming from an investigator who has probably seen them all. lol

But it subsequently emerged that the 51-year-old described by the island's solicitor general Taco Stein as "a mean 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬" had a $1.5 million life insurance policy her.

Well, with GG spouting his mouth off on national tv he is providing information that just does not add up, so yes I guess you are correct. But then when someone does not appear to be telling the truth people do tend to speculate don't they? I mean that has been my experience. When you tell the truth and it matches with the facts people generally accept what you say as what actually happened. Changing your story leads people to believe you are hiding something. It's human nature not to trust someone who has several different versions in statements they give. jmo

I think our main goal here is to try and separate fact from fiction but with GG's different accountings regardless of how ever so slight it leads people to believe things just did not happen the way he is saying they did. So that leads to speculation about what really happened. jmo

It is not just the National Enquirer, most of the media are using this story to boost their ratings and are adding their own little spicy titbits.

Selected titbits are then taken by the different forums/blogs etc that suit a specifuc forum's mindset depending of whether that forum is pro Robyn or pro whoever else.

Of course the media is going to try and boost their ratings. Most papers are hanging by a thread. Crime stories have always generated interest. Especially when the suspect seems to be lying and trying to cover things up. imo

I'm not really sure if this is a credible publication as is really more of an opinion column, so hope it's ok to post the links to it.

Now we all just know here at WS's NOT to believe NE or anything they print. The main focus here is to get to the facts and if the POI is talking, going over their statements trying to pick out those things that just do not make sense. It's what we do here and frankly I don't know about anyone else but I could care less what is written on other blogs, I trust WS's for getting to the correct information....it can be a labor intensive experience but we evidentially get to the meat of the matter. This is what is important.....not rumors. jmo

We all know this is a missing thread for Robyn and the poor woman has lost her life. Was it an accident or was her death planned? We don't know. It's not a pro or con contest. The woman is dead and we want to know why, nothing more, nothing less. This is just my opinion, only.

What does it mean to be ' Pro Robyn?'

We do not know if she has lost her life.
