From what I recall Giordano stated he had put the car there so it could be in the shade, not to go into the sea at that spot.

When looking at the video of the re-enactment I also do not see rocks, they go into the water (where Giordano claimed they went in) and there are no rocks it is all green with plants etc.

Maybe if we could see footage of that area it is easy to pinpoint at which exact spot they went into the sea at the re enactment, just by comparing it does not look like the spot pointed out at the ABC video:

watching this video again

The reporter says they donned snorkel gear and "splashed" into the water

It appears they could enter the water oblivious to rocks

I wonder if ABC/LE was getting a little dig in (:57 on video), by using a bald actor with man 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬....

I didn't know she cut her foot on a rock and decided to go "back into the water" anyway. Did she go in and come back out? If so, where were her fins? Has the blood been tested for her DNA? I thought the blood on the rock was rumor.

Those rocks are definitely rough.

During the hearing, it was also disclosed that DNA test results on blood on a towel showed the blood belong to Robyn Gardner, according to Lejuez.

Giordano's attorney said this fact is consistent with his client's statement to police that Gardner cut her toe while coming out of the water while they were swimming. Police have denied reports that Gardner's blood was found on a rock at the beach where Giordano says they went swimming.

A purported key piece evidence in the mysterious disappearance of missing American woman Robyn Gardner doesn't exist, police have revealed.

Blood was reportedly found on a rock near the restaurant not far from where Gardner and her traveling companion Gary Giordano were last seen together.

But Aruba Solicitor General Taco Stein said in an interview Saturday night: "The detail about the hand print and blood is not true."

"That is not something that we have found," the Solicitor General said, adding: "Let me put that to rest as that only hinders the investigation."

I have posted the links about the lobby argument and the blood on the rocks in the Facts and Rumour thread for future reference

I wouldn't consider anything coming out of GG's mouth as FACT.

If it was GG who said she cut her toe on a rock how do we know that's even true. It could be blood from the beating he gave her. They only found blood on the hotel room towel, not at the beach!!

We certainly don't know

The towel was found on the beach , thats all we know for sure

Only my opinion and no link to back it up
When the towel was discovered with blood on it, I think the amount would have been consistant with a cut foot or toe

Any more than that would have set off major alarm bells and it would take more than a cut toe story to cover it

Yes, I heard the same thing. Ashley Banfield mentioned it in a couple of her interviews. I'd like to know for sure.

Aruba, obviously, wants this to go away. No news whatsoever from them. I do think it's either they want it to go away, or they're waiting for him to make a a misstep.

Is there a way to find out what is stamped on his passport? It's not public information, is it?

So i shall take this as your opinion
nothing obvious

Hi vplate,

I think "obviously" is being considered an "opinion"--nothing obvious about it?

Do you have a link for this?
I don't recall reading this, but its been awhile

Hi vplate,

If you say to your girlfriend, "he's obviously not the one for you", is that an opinion? Yes, obviously.

OTOH, if you said, "he told me he's not the one for you", then it would, obviously, be a fact.

GG could have planted the towel there to be consistent with his stub toe story.

FWIW Robyn was not wearing the same dress two days in a row.
(in reaction op various posts in the thread before this one)

The dress in the evening of July 31-August 1:

The dress on August 2:

-----------

Noticed something about a week ago, so asking if anyone else did. Only speculation, asking a question, IMO.:

As they are leaving the restaurant, Robyn appears to be looking to the right, while GG appears to have his upper body turned forward and appears to be looking forward.

There is a car parked immediately in front of them. From what I can see, there might be one of those silver windshield heat shields on the dash (I could be totally wrong, though). If there was a heat shield in the windshield, do you think it might be possible that someone could have been sitting in that car watching them? If so, Robyn probably wouldn't have noticed since her line of sight seems to be towards the right.

It sure looks like the same dress.

If we believe the fishermans story that they left the beach and he never saw them again that day, when would he plant the towel?

If at that time they were leaving the beach, he wouldn't know when it would be discovered. Could have been the moment they walked off the beach.

The fisherman says he never saw him on the beach again that day so its doubtful to me to think he returned carrying a towel and dress to plant when he had no idea if someone would see him

Hi Maryann,

It was never said that GG"s account of her stubbing her toe was "fact", only "consistent" with his statement.

"this Fact" meaning the DNA on the TOWEL was RG's , was "consistent"with statement to police about cutting her toe.

Blood on Rock? There was no blood found on a rock.

BBM: I obviously missed this before, as I didn't realize they were claiming she cut her toe while coming out of the water, I thought it was before she went in. This sounds even stranger to me. If she had already been in the water, then came out of the water cutting her toe on a rock, I find it highly unplausible that she would go back in the water at that point. I already didn't believe it, but this confirms my disbelief that much more that it's a complete fabrication by GG. JMO

Not to mention, this scenario would require even more time for them to have been in the water at that location than if Robyn had cut her toe on the rock when first getting in the water.

Something about that statement doesn't sound right to me either

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that the fisherman said "they never went in the water"? FACT! I never said anything about blood on a rock. I don't believe she stubbed her toe or even went in the water.
