Goulburn Bypass opened Dec 1992.

So, what else did he have to do with Goulburn? Goulburn Jail? Visiting/picking up an associate there? Going to the Big Merino for Mackas or filling up with fuel?

Or is it simply, one has to to travel past Goulburn on the highway (due to the bypass, he wouldn't of needed to actually enter Goulburn, unless for purposes like the latter) to get to Belanglo Forest.

Big Merino actually got moved to the bypass a few years ago. So not the Big Merino.

Yup we deserved a mental break! The stress the stress! And we should celebrate the thread still being open! And we can celebrate Makara not throwing the towel in out of sheer exasperation!

And on a more serious note...the nasty underbelly of evil being uncovered is frightening. These people have lots of links to what look like ordinary families that plod along celebrating their childrens certificates and milestones. How how how can this go on in mainstream suburban Australia. Are these the people we smile indulgently at in the supermarket when we hear them tersely calling their children to order....and buy them plastic bits and bobs (and sugar) to keep them quiet at the checkout???
Whats missing??? Whats the answer? I keep thinking back to a reference someone made to William Hogarths Four Stages of Cruelty someone (???) mentioned in a much earlier thread.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Four_Stages_of_Cruelty
Ok enough said before I get on to morals and values...that's after only one wine!
Thanks everyone here for your common sense, lateral thinking and basic decency....it gives me faith in humanity!

The mind boggles, doesn't it perky?

I used to have this quote from William Hogarth's 'The Four Stages of Cruelty' in my WS signature:

'What Int'rest springs from barb'rous deeds?'

Indeed. What interest in Karlie's and Khandalyce's case? Monetary, for one.

A SC lawyer? That isn't the calibre of your usual legal aid lawyer is it, assuming she is using legal aid.

Aye. Either she is using $$$ or he's doing pro bono. SC/QCs and other law type people do pro bono.

Part of a thing.

I think this 6 pack has fudged me noggin.

Hahahaha! Sorry! My fault not making myself clear.

I meant what did Silverau mean by the part written, which I bolded "I remember watching the opening of the bypass of Goulburn."

The relevance was, he was IN Goulburn, before travelling up to his new abode on the CC. If you were on your way to CC, you'd be going on the highway and not through the town.

just some speculation........

It is possible the new boyfriend of Hazel ( the Carer ) dumped that suitcase at Wynarka. ... to set the scene..

it is odd, that Khandles body was hidden for so long, then so suddenly and ( you would have to say ) deliberately, bought into the open along the side of a well travelled highway.. as if suddenly, someone just had to get rid of it.. perhaps this someone only found out about what was in the suitcase in the shed.. someone who wanted rid of anything Daniel around his 'wife'.. looking at him today, he looks nutty enough....

My daughters theory is, Hazel, in a tender moment of sexual bonding , tells the 'Carer' about the body in the suitcase.. ( leaving out her part in the fraud element) and he goes completely bonkers and in his own eyes, 'gets rid of it'... quickly, cackhandedly, clumsily, and returns to Hazel having passed some sort of initiation into her inner embraces.. besides..... the temperature in Adelaide was nearly 30 celcius today, and what does the nutso 'Carer' have on? a thick woollen dufflecoat.

He is as nuts as the other two, or more..

There is no indication that Holdom was in jail. Yes, I know that it has been reported that police were speaking to one of many inmates at Mittagong Jail in relation to this case. Police have not stated that Holdom is in fact the same person referred to as the child sex offender and may in fact be a totally different person.

Pedantic this may be but we have to abide by the sub judice laws that are now in place for Holdom. If anyone can post a link to where police have said that the sex offender and Holdom are one and the same, please do so.

Mittagong? You're not on the juice too are you Makara, or have we missed something else?

Wew!!!

Nice to see the media picked up on that. But goes to show how important it is for all of us to adhere to T and C and australian sub judice laws.

Also around 3:28 mark in that video - Says suddenly in 2011 Holdem and Passmore left their Hillbank home and left behind their possessions and the shrine to the deceased children.

Wait.

WHAT?!

So they were STILL together after the crash and Karlie and Khandles murder?!

WHAT?!

The fact that no charges have been laid (that we know of) against HP + she has a silk to represent her = us not hearing much in msm (about her, at least in the short term.)
Hoping my maths are wrong:thinking:

A tender moment of sexual bonding doesn't seem like the 'right' time to mention the skeleton in the closet... or suitcase.

Big Merino actually got moved to the bypass a few years ago. So not the Big Merino.
Ok, splitting hairs here. The Big Merino was moved in 2007 to a place closer to the southern exit of the Goulburn bypass/interchange/mackas/petrol station etc. It was moved aprox 1klm down the road. Don't think the move is whats relevent here.

Nah fair enough.

Its just before you had to go INTO (the outskirts of goulburn) to visit the big merino, when the bypass was opened. It seems trivial to go to goulburn for the big merino and then go to the CC.

JMO.

Yeah - and she left her leg behind.

Must have been in a hurry

The key card had expired and the bank had changed its name. Police later destroyed the card after learning the cardholder lived interstate.

http://www.smh.com.au/nsw/karlie-pe...rd-years-after-her-death-20151030-gkn3rr.html

Can anyone remember the name of the bank wheelchair lady went into? I remember googling it because i wasn't familiar with the name? it was some type of credit union And that bank was very much still active....Does anyone know if that bank has changed its name? Or is it possible they have opened another bank account with someone ese

It was a South Australia/NT credit union, formerly called Australian Central Credit Union.
They changed their name to People's Choice Credit Union in Dec 2009 when they merged with another credit union call Savings and Loans.

One problem here Trooper - Wasn't it an elderly well dressed man seen with a suitcase? The guy seen today was neither elderly or well dressed.
