Sorry for quoting myself
If in fact it happened in the ACT it would then be a Federal Case, would it not?
Yes, it would sleep.

i found one of the articles..."Like others living in Wynarka, he remembers the father and young daughter who once lived in a caravan parked among the scrub outside town. One day, years ago, they disappeared."

i still wonder if this could be DH with Khandalyce living in this caravan after Karlie's murder.
Khandalyce after being murdered (the article says she was murdered) she could have been left in the caravan to decompose which explains the condition of her bones.
The later sighting of the caravan girl could be DH returning with HP's daughter not with the original caravan girl and the bones and clothing could have been packed into the suitcase then. Or perhaps someone else (suitcase man) found the bones and packed them in the suitcase and left them by the road.
Where is this caravan in relation to where the suitcase was left and do the sightings of suitcase man fit these 2 locations.
Also..I might as well go out on a permanent limb and state that I think Hazel had control and ownership of that suitcase. Knowing full well what was inside it. For years. Something made her throw it away ,some catalyst, I don't know what, a direction from Daniel, an argument with James the Carer, whatever. ... something made her suddenly retrieve it from its hiding place and take it on the road and discard it, in a panic.
And when that suitcase was discovered, by the public at large, she sat on the info, until some bigmouth dropped the names Karlie and Khandalyce to the missing persons squad. I don't believe for one nanosecond that Hazel contacted the police with that information,..
Feeling sorry for Hazel is so far off my radar it constitutes an outer space moment.
Great find . Funny police havent picked up on this . Though they may believe right now they have bigger fish to fryIt just keeps going like an eveready battery..........
One thing that bothers me is that if they know someone in a wheelchair attended Centrelink I'm guessing they have cctv footage. If it was HP then why have they not arrested her? Is it to keep her talking? I just don't understand. Are they keeping her on their good side to get more info? But surely if the arrested her they would put her in a more vunerable position and she might be more likely to talk. Is it possible it was not her as it would be pretty obvious it was due to the wheelchair. My only theory is that she was doing it as a favour as she believed Karlie was alive but could not attend. If not its just plain stupid. There is a huge stretch between benefit fraud and murder so I'm not convinced yet.
And on another note my toddler hates shoes and if I carry him or put him in the pram I don't care. God forbid it would be used to judge me as a criminal...!

Although the ACT itself and its Supreme Court in its civil, criminal and appellate jurisdiction were established under statutes passed by the Commonwealth Parliament, the ACT Supreme Court is not referred to as exercising Federal jurisdiction and its cases are not described as Federal cases, which is a term generally limited to matters falling within the power of the Commonwealth under the Australian Constitution (although in some cases like the Corporations Act the States cooperate in passing legislation that then is treated as falling under the jurisdiction of the Federal Courts as well as the State Supreme Courts).

Murders committed in the ACT are prosecuted under the Crimes Act 1900 (ACT)

I don't think that even now centrelink keeps footage for that long. Those cameras are in case of critical incidents... for example if some junkie gets refused an urgent payment and starts picking up computers and throwing them at staff. Keeping what is mostly otherwise unremarkable footage for years... three four or five cameras per office... for every office in the country... that's a lot of $$$.
My guess is the Customer Service officer acted according to duty of care, and offered "Karlie" a claim form for Disability Support Pension then documented why they made that offer.

Yes, but it would be handled by the Federal Police is what I meant in my question.
It can't be handled by either NSW or SA Police if the crime was committed in the ACT.
Puggle, on of the account transactions on KPS account they identified was at Rabbit photo/Strandbags in Mt Gambier on 17/11/2008. They think she was still alive at this point? I think they were trying to establish the timeline
If they have cctv of a woman in a wheel chair, can't they see if that person is an amputee? A persons appearance may change over time, but they don't go loosing a limb.
