You are correct it's not confirmation. Yet it has been alluded to in prior MSN articles where SAPOL have even considered it themselves.

Would you post those links please Puggle?

Hope it is OK to post here.
A trail bike rider discovered the skull, spine, pelvis and at least one femur lodged under a log in dense bushland on Sunday, close to an area known as Dalys Waterhole.
Police said the skeleton, and a clump of long hair lying next to it, was located in a section of the forest not previously searched.

This article gives the length, not the colour - her hair could have been sun bleached or too damaged by elements to determine the colour.
* She had shoulder-length hair, although investigators do not know the hairstyle.
I think the photo of Karlie at Marion was taken from a standing position with the camera/phone held at chest height so Karlie may be looking above the camera into the photographer's face, while the photo of Kandalyce was taken from a squatting or seated position.
The photos are interesting for several reasons:
Seems strange not to take a photo of Karlie and Kandalyce together. (unless they haven't been released by police)
Karlie appears, as others have said, to be a bit annoyed and taken off guard. She certainly didn't pose for the photo and it seems to have been taken quickly.
The most puzzling aspect, is why the photos were kept for 7 years. The photo of Karlie was as unremarkable as it was unflattering.
It would have meant transferring the photos with phone upgrades or stored on a computer.
That the photos were kept suggests they were important to the photographer, both at the time, and for the subsequent 7 years.
It was possibly in this article....which is a pay walled article in the Australian.....so my word will have to be accepted for those without a subscription.....

In the photos Karlie has hair that has had blonde highlights.
They may have had some strands of hair that had been exposed to the elements which indicated shoulder length - but did not want to "guess" what colour her hair might have been.
(This is only my opinion)
Not pay walled for me.
This video is several weeks old but has been playing on my mind.
It discusses the forensic investigation into the suitcase contents and shows forensic scientist, Chris Pearman, examining a couple of items of clothing.
One looks like a very large rugby type top and the other a pair of black shorts or pants. If they are in fact items from the suitcase they seem far too large for Karlie or Khandalyce. Maybe a man's?

There is probably other MSM articles for those less informed or new to this case.....I will try to find them in the AM..
Will try to find the specific article I am referring too....this was way before the recent revelation of an informant or a crime stopper call.....there was 100% an article where SA police mentioned something about this being a well known Drug Smuggling Route..
Maybe the link is even in the Thread Makara set up...

Ug!! That wretched article from The Australian! One day it's paywalled, the next day it's not, then it is paywalled again!
I have a screen-shot just in case it disappears again, but I guess that's no use here, is it?
