The other friend came forward with the photos and said she had seen them at Marion, in November 2008 - how can anyone be sure if the timeframe is correct? The right date? What if this "friend" is the Holden Hill connection?
"They" were last seen in December 2008 in Canberra.
So last sighting in SA and last sighting in ACT fairly close together but wondering if KP was actually killed on the 14/15th December or just dumped there then to throw LE off?

Info in the latest edition of the Advertiser reports that as a result of the accident HP had her right leg amputated above the knee, lost the use of her left leg and sustained other serious injuries previously unspecified AFAIK such as loss of part of her bowel.

If it is an oversight Trooper, it is massive. However, the deaths of the two children may be the subject of separate claim/s. Also surely their father would be entitled to claim in the matter. I'm inclined to bewilderment as to why this has happened.

It doesn't make sense that the "Mother" wouldn't make a claim for*all* If she is the fraudster...(Not my words)...could it be conceived at all possible that Hazel in this claim was being genuine??.....

Maybe she didn't blame Daniel for the loss of her children as it was an accident....and she loved him??

But on the grounds of the *Accident* her claims were genuine.

A. Loss of Potential future income due to her disability

and B: Medical costs.

A and B are true...


Sorry also have to address the idea that the hire company could instigate a claim.....Only claim they could initiate would be for the loss of the vehicle......they wouldn't initiate any further claim on the occupants behalf - as that has nothing to do with them.

"As a result of that information we were able to identify another person who had been closely associated with Karlie, and that person provided information in relation to meeting with her in November 2008 at Marion and provided a photograph to us."

He said that photograph "again showed Khandalyce and it showed her wearing the pink dress".

Btw: The friend from Marion was tracked by police and didn't call Crime Stoppers on their own - I always understood so. I assume, the first caller had a connection to the second caller and maybe told police to ask this person for further infos?

Yes we do have black spots and wildly divergent information. Some just plain old lack of information and the other points that could shed a lot of light are either sub judice or against WS terms.

In the spirit of throwing around possibilities....

Connie's carer was part of the syndicate - forwarding the mail and keeping tabs on the family.

In his infinite wisdom in a plan to exonerate himself/distance himself in a town that would be happy to rip him to shreds if it comes to light feeds the drug bounty story to Crime Stoppers.

Waits patiently to no avail - the police don't come knocking (I can only imagine they know it's bogus?) So he implements Plan B and tells the media.
(though I still lean more towards gross embellishment and cash for comment theory)

However on a much more prosaic level and having worked in the finance sector ATMs and ATM receipts are able to be coded to communicate marketing/information campaigns to customers particularly in preparation for mergers and acquisitions. The need to change her address because of the merger and the bank issuing new cards could have just as easily been spat out at the ATM.

And just to check are we/me wrongly assuming it was the bank change that was the driver for the attendance to change address details? Or could it have had nothing to do with the merger - they just needed to change the address to get a more recent statement to keep up with other ID needs/points. Any statements that Karlie had would have been over 12 months old and no longer acceptable as a form of identification?

I had to ask for carer's age before quoting your post (I was remembering 25, but wasn't sure). If he was/is as young as that, I can't imagine him to be someone of a "syndicate" who takes decisions?

Surely she would have had legal advice before submitting a claim and representation, I wonder why the children were left out.....I would expect any legal representative to include this as a part of any claim
