AUS - Khandalyce Kiara Pearce, Wynarka, Bones of a Child Discovered, July'15 - #5

I really think they should cover the area between Wynarka and Tailem Bend with cadaver dogs. The kind of dogs that will alert to human remains and items that have been in contact with human remains. There still is a possibility the mother is dead too. And if so, where are her remains?

I'm really concerned about mum as well because if both mum and child go missing then it looks like they've both up and left.

Also if the cadaver dogs were introduced to Angel's bones, would they then have her scent to find more possessions?

Makes you think the media outlet got all their info directly from us here ... I'd bet me boots on it!!!

Member "ShaunO" is the one that came on here after one of our members saw his You tube clip, and invited him to come here to join our discussion - He explained that the police at first urgently wanted his footage and then discounted it without even thoroughly going through it.

Then a new member here "Kustom" posted the image of an item behind the tree, stating he/she captured the image from street walk September 2014 - Like Makara stated.

Ben's been updated on the error.

Yes, that's correct. The Colt family were in touch with various agencies, schools, and Centrelink, just not consistently. It just goes to show that this little girl could also have been registered--birth certificate, medicare details, periodic day care enrolment, doctor visits etc, but never been in contact with any person outside the family for long enough for the problems at home to be fully identified or remembered.

It's also worth noting that the Colt children were not actually removed from their mothers due to incest--DOCS had no idea about that at the time. The children were actually removed due to severe and chronic neglect. It was only after the children were placed in foster care that they started to disclose to their carers, DOCS staff, and counselors about chronic sexual abuse in addition to the other issues. Anything can go on in any family and no one outside that family ever know. Several generations of children in this family suffered abuse but no one knew about it until 2012.

Seeing as there has been so much speculation about this child being the victim of abuse, I've added the link for the NSW case findings for the Colt family. Confidentiality around children in foster care is very strict in Australia, but they took the rare step of publishing the Children's Court filings for the Colt case. (Also "Colt" and all the other names used in the media are pseudonyms; the real family name and the children's name are never to be made public in order to protect the children.)

Thanks for all that info, sunnybree. I'm having a good look everything in the link - very informative.

I've had the iPhone 3, 4, 5 & now 6+ and I didn't know that!
I've had no problems with iPad or iPhone.

THANX MAKARA!
(Can you now help me operate my lawn mower?) :floorlaugh:

I knew that! Only because my daughter got ahold of my phone and "checked it out" for me. She was horrified at "why do you have so many apps open on this phone?". LOL.

Also if the cadaver dogs were introduced to Angel's bones, would they then have her scent to find more possessions?

I think cadaver dogs search for the scent of a dead human and what has been in contact with the dead body. So not like dogs who track a specific missing person that is alive.

But I'm not sure how it works exactly.

That's an interesting thought ..... we haven't heard any mention of cadaver dogs being used.... food for thought!!!

I would have thought they would already have brought in cadaver dogs. Maybe they just haven't mentioned it?

I think I may have found what book it is, it's called "A Sausage Went For A Walk" by Ellisha Majid.
I found this youtube clip with this very cute little girl reading the book, so I got a screenshot of a bit of the page with the baked beans:

Well done Snoop Dog. It looks very much like the same book. I found the following at the link you gave for the teaching notes.

(This activity requires copies of different editions.)1. Two editions of A Sausage Went for a Walk have been published recently, a smaller boardbook in 2008 and a larger paperback in 2011. Both of these editions differ slightly from the original book which came out twenty years ago in 1991

The GAF label could possibly be a fake GAP copy often found in Asia when a copy is made but they change name slightly. The the Haolailu def seems Chinese. It crosses my mind this could a family with a bit of cash, Roxy clothing, possibly bought cheap clothes copies overseas on holiday. Even the suitcase is not a really cheap one.

The only thing I've found for Haolailu is a brand of handbags. There is a company called GA Fashions (GAF) that sells customized items, including clothes; it's based in Australia (Sydney, I think.) They seem to use Zazzle Apparel in California for their manufacturer. Is it possible that someone had the shirt made and Haolailu is the child's name? If so, I'd agree that the family probably has/had money. They aren't cheap by my standards.

Probably not, but I'm wiped out today so it makes sense to me.

Or they just haven't done it..................don't assume that "they" are any smarter than the average bear...their only human...limited by financial resources... this forum is made up of an indefinite # of individuals motivated by ? curiosity, real concern and an infinite numbers of intellectual reasoning's... I say bring on the dogs....

I don't if it helps but according to goodreads the publication dates for "A Sausage Went For Walk" are as follows:

Paperback
January 1st 2001 by Fremantle Arts Centre Press
March 21st 2002 by Southwood Books
A Sausage Went for a Walk (Hardcover)
Published December 1st 2008 by Fremantle Press
http://www.goodreads.com/work/editions/166438-a-sausage-went-for-a-walk

The reason I've shared this is if the book found is a hardcover it would not have been Published until 1st December 2008 may be of help in the timeline.

Yes, bring on the dogs I say too! I am glad that the search continues, but if they are there searching anyway I can't see how it could hurt, if they have a dog available.

:gday: maldivesred, and thank you for that post. It's got to be helpful with the timeline surely.

Night folks, I'm dragging my tired butt to bed :offtobed:

Thank you Maldivesred and welcome to Websleuths. It's difficult to make out whether the book that was found is a hardcover copy. Below is a screen grab of the book on the ground.

Absoulutely, many people are making a great contribution to the investigation, no doubt about that.

What I meant was, I assumed that cadaver dogs would automatically be employed in circumstances like this; that it wasn't detective work as such, just a matter of course in a murder investigation - like looking for fingerprints. But I could be wrong.

We don't know yet if the book and pink cloth found yesterday are connected to little Angel. My greatest hope is they are and someone has written her name or their own name inside the book. Having said that I think there is just something really weird about this latest find. The mounted police go out to search and within a few hours they've found the book and pink cloth. It's still niggling in the back of my mind that someone has planted them there not very long ago.

I was speaking to an undercover cop the other day.
He said the RE: Perth pedophile ring, they are like rats, for every one you see, there is really seven.
A lot of nervous people around at the moment.
