I agree with the car, not necessarily the remains. I believe they could have been there for 2 months, given they're now "remains" and not a "body". I'm not certain at what point police call a dead person a "body" or "remains". I just googled (Lord help me if my search history is ever checked!) and this is what I found:
- Body: Refers to the whole physical structure of a living or deceased person.
- Remains: Specifically refers to the physical parts or remnants of a deceased body, including bones, soft tissues, or any other parts that are left behind after death.
So if the term was used correctly, her entire body wasn't there. This suggests to me either some pretty gruesome possibilities, or that it's been there for a long time and nature has taken its course.
I hate to compare Tayla to a kangaroo, but my only experience with a large being decomposing is a kangaroo. I've seen lots of dead ones on the side of the road and even the big boys don't take long until they're almost gone, bar the bones.
Regardless, it's very sad and her death will impact many.
