Are there really that many factors? It was reported _very_ early on that she was known to go bush, and there were some MH concerns about her.

Anything is technically possible, but I would surmise (from the lack of any open investigation) that it is unlikely anyone else was involved.
I personally have my doubts. I hope the police are still investigating behind the scenes ;)

Just what I have said in my post.

Until there has been confirmation from police that the case is now closed

It's still an active investigation.

This was a nationwide investigation, throughout the media, so if the investigation had culminated, there would have been some mention, because of the interest throughout the media

The media have shut up as well

There has been no response from the family; they have disabled comments

If this is bigger and it has overseas connections, people could be under surveillance

And it takes time

We will have to just wait and see

It’s typical in suicides that the media and police don’t release much.

A reminder that there’s over 3000 suicides per year in Australia, vs under 300 murders, per:

Very very few of those suicides ever hit the media and police rarely comment. Most of the murders do go public.

This will be a very sensitive and painful time for her family and friends. The police don’t necessarily owe us anything.

But we don't know it's a suicide. Just because the police haven't said anything

Agree... And the media tend to hint it's a suicide by putting the lifeline, beyond blue, kidshelp line etc. in a box somewhere in the article. ....
