Isn’t it true that this lunch was an intervention? Was the meal served before or after the conversation started? Was there a second option of what to serve?

The purpose of the meal is unknown but people have speculated that it was some sort of intervention related to EP's marriage or child custody. We don't know when the meal started or what foods were served except for the beef Wellington.
