I seem to recall that Josie had banned Josh from the house, does anyone recall why that was?

It was said that they didn’t get along, yet Josh is living in another house owned by his in-laws.

Hey @Kemug
There are a few posts about this topic on and around page #122 of this thread.

In summary, nothing conclusive, in my opinion.

It was reported by Daily Mail which has been working overtime in this case, to create sensation and drama where there is none. Take the info about Josh being banned from the house with a grain of salt (wait, it's DM, so make it a boatload of salt).

I’d imagine the guilt of losing HIS child might be why he’s staying at their other home. Moo

Perhaps an emotional reaction finding out his son has gone missing on the property prompted a suggestion it was best for all for JL not to stay on the property. I imagine it would be a very trying time for everyone involved and relationships may be tested. MOO.

Shearing usually occurs in early Spring, before the weather warms up. It's almost always outsourced
I grew up on a sheep station hence my immediate interest in the shearing / shearer’s. Agree that usually the same contract shearing company is used, however that company often employs ‘extras’ to meet demand.

Josh is staying in Adelaide with his brother Samuel. Are you saying that house belongs to his in-laws?

Maybe, Jess would now refuse to visit JL in that old house, and her parents did HER the favor of making their own house in Adelaide available. MOO

How interesting, both names of the old testament of the Bible

Can someone please link up the article where it says Gus dad is currently living? I’m not sure I’ve seen it yet. Tyia

DM claims JL lived with his brother last month but now lives in house owned by JM & SM.

So the DM decided a few days ago to release footage of Josh leaving his brother's place last month?
And said it was on Tuesday?

" .... but when asked again on Tuesday if there had been any change, Samuel loudly shouted to 'get off the property, now'."

I thought Josh had bought the rundown home he was renovating and living in at the time Gus disappeared. When Gus went missing, Josh moved in with his brother Samuel in Adelaide. I'm guessing Samuel usually lives in this home. Is that the home believed to be owned by Gus grandparents? MOO.

That is plain harassment! These reporters have more front than Myers!

I am now thinking that maybe the DM took photos of Josh leaving the in-laws Adelaide property on Tuesday, and he "reacted" angrily (maybe flipped them an unpublished bird).

"When briefly approached for comment by Daily Mail, the devastated father reacted angrily."

And went to Samuel's place to see if he was ready to be interviewed, and he yelled at them to get off his property now (maybe didn't even open the door to them?)

" .... but when asked again on Tuesday if there had been any change, Samuel loudly shouted to 'get off the property, now'."

Maybe two different property visits on Tuesday.

imo

The way I have followed this is that JL is not currently living at his Belalie North property.

Following Gus going missing he had been staying with his brother in the Adelaide metropolitan area.

It currently seems he is staying on a separate property in the Adelaide metropolitan area which is reportedly owned by the M family.

All that said, I believe DM are constantly harassing the family and where JL is currently staying (to escape the harassment and prying eyes) and the cost of various properties has nothing to do with locating little Gus. I’d react angrily towards hounding media too if it were me.

IMO.

How many shearers/ shed hands would have been there this shearing season ?

We'd probably need to know more information ... like how long the shearing took. I see information about how many sheep an experienced shearer can shear in one day.
If we knew how long the shearing took, we might be able to gauge how many shearers were there.
I imagine there may be a lot of demand for shearers during Spring.

I would think the police are right on top of this. When investigating who may have accessed the property, or been on the property, at the time that Gus disappeared.

imo

Eg:
This clip suggests some of the pressures that shearers experience in a job that continues to be physically demanding, requires great skill, and pays only for the number of sheep shorn.
The narrator states that, on average, shearers processed 130 sheep per day.
Today
[2010], shearers typically shear about 100 sheep per day. A ‘gun shearer’ or 'ringer' (the fastest shearer in the shed) can shear 200–300 or more sheep per day.
