Is that statement so they look innocent and to stop people giving them a hard time?

Are they innocent?
What are the inconsistencies?
Was it someone else. A local in the area?

Wish we had some information.

The Advertiser apparently approached both of the grandparents lawyers and the police for comment, as tomorrow Gus will have been missing for 6 months.

Shannon's lawyer said that Shannon remained hopeful that Gus would be found. She is supporting Josie, cooperating through her solicitors, and hopes some info will come to light soon.

They say that they approached Josie's lawyer too - doesn't sound as if they have heard back, as there is no comment published.

(They need to edit their headline, they have referenced the wrong grandparent in the headline. They clearly state in the article that it was Mr Isaccs that made the comment, not Andrew Ey.)

A police spokesperson reiterated that they would continue to investigate until solved, haven't ruled out returning to Oak Park Station in the continuing investigation. No comment on operational aspects, such as if forensic examination of the items taken has been completed.

Crime Stoppers has received 505 calls in relation to Gus' disapperance.
