I am still curious of the timeline.
LE indicates they were suspicious with mother's toxicology report. BUT when?
Was extended family aware of the toxicology report soon after mother died, or only after father's death....
Could father have been saved?

I think if they were suspicious of the mothers toxicology report, LE wouldn't have just ignored it.
That's if the hospital reported it as I imagine would be the customary thing to do if something was thought to be suspicious.

Maybe her death didn't seem suspicious, until he died with the same drugs in his system.

I think it's only when the father was found and the scene looked like it had been set to look like it was suicide that his wife's death was looked into more closely.

I think they then did a blood test on him, and then they looked back at the mothers test results.

How awful the poor man had to love another year with the loss of his wife, not knowing it was his own daughter who had killed her.

Last week, Det Insp Mark McEachern said concerns over Brenda Anderson’s death were first raised during a coronial investigation, which unearthed alarming toxicology results. A similarly concerning toxicology report was returned after Lynton Anderson’s death.

When her mum started to recover from a first dose of insulin, the daughter gave her another dose (3 days later) - then her mum died the next day.

There is also (according to the police) extensive evidence that the daughter tried to tamper with evidence and witnesses.
The defence has had those allegations suppressed until 4pm today (Thursday).
She was also denied bail until today.

Something must be going to happen today, but they don't say what.

But they still don't really explain the exact imeline.
They must know that WE want to know!!!

My nurse friend said they believe suspicion was raised after the mother died in hospital as a death in a hospital will be investigated. Yes it's a bit grim to think that someone was sitting on this information all that time and potentially Mr Anderson's death could have been prevented.

Aha I guess the investigation would have taken some time unfortunately. I wonder how much the family knew about this investigation prior to Mr Anderson’s death.

It is the same article as yesterday, they have just changed the heading.
But it seems something must be happening at 4pm (right now) as the suppression was only until 4pm on Thursday (as per the article).

No link, I heard it on the radio, ABC I think.

It says her next court date is in December.

The ABC reported in this (below) article from yesterday that "She was refused bail and will return to court in five months". I think they have known that since yesterday's hearing.

Hopefully they will let us known about the suppression and if it was/wasn't lifted today. I guess maybe if we hear nothing then it wasn't lifted and MSM will have to sit on what they know about the allegations until December.

I think at least one paper jumped the gun yesterday.

Thanks South I wasn't sure that they hadn't added something to it.

Me either. It is worth checking. They will be the ones who should have had someone in court today (if there was a hearing, and it wasn't a closed hearing). Their offices are not too far from the city courthouse.

Trying to find a source not behind a paywall seems impossible.
