She was definitely scheduled for court today. Not seeing what happened anywhere yet.

The Advertiser has finally released today's court info.

Key evidence including purported motive will remain secret.
The prosecutors changed their position and supported the defence motion to suppress.

Their reasons for suppression are also under suppression. lol :)

RP stays in custody until her Dec court hearing.

Her barrister must be pretty good. The media were advised by the courts yesterday that there are further suppressions. At the time they were advised of that, the bail hearing was already happening (they found out later), and everything said at the hearing is under suppression.

No decision yet. There will be further submissions for bail at a hearing sometime next week.

Thanks, Tootsie.

RP says that she has type 1 diabetes (as per her dr, who is away). The prison says she has type 2 diabetes. That they see no evidence of the symptoms she says she has. Her lawyer is going to ask another dr for an opinion.

Her lawyer wants the judge to order a report to see if RP is suitable for home detention. The judge is not going to do that until she hears all the bail submissions.

Next bail hearing is on Thursday arvo.

Thanks, Tootsie.
Thank You, South!

I was just wondering do the two types use different insulin, or do they use the same insulin but different amounts.

How strange!
Maybe she doesn't need any insulin at all?
Maybe it is imaginary illness?

Raelene Polymiadis, accused of murdering parents, says diabetes has been mismanaged in custody

The court heard that prison authorities believed the woman had the more common type 2 diabetes, which is typically managed through diet.

Ms Polymiadis said she had been diagnosed by her doctor with the genetic type 1 diabetes, which is treated with insulin.

Ms Shaw said that her client suffered a hypoglycaemic attack just before her hearing this morning after recording a "dangerous" blood-sugar level because she was unable to access insulin.

Police allege that the accused is the only known family member who had access to insulin and that neither of her parents had diabetes.

Wow... what a horrible person. I will never understand people who do things like this to the elderly. Did she consider herself an angel of death, I wonder.

I don't know about the family, but under the SA Police FB announcement about the crime there are a lot of comments from people who were familiar with Mr & Mrs Anderson.

RIP comments and sadness from Meals On Wheels, from Holly Residential Care (presumably the org who provided home care to them), from public who bought flowers that the Andersons sold in front of their home for a florist daughter.

The police turned off the ability to comment on this Major Crime announcement 5 days ago.

all i'm seeing is that this beautiful couple was known for loving and selling flowers and bouquets.

What we have to remember is that although she has been charged, she has not yet been convicted of anything.

She is alleged to have poisoned her parents.

It's now up to the legal system to decide her guilt or innocence.

It looks like the case of Beverly A., nurse from the UK.
M. Syndrome and severe mental disturbances.

Poor parents :(
RIP
