Yes, the remains of the little girl found in, and scattered around, a suitcase at Wynarka were identified as belonging to Khandalyce Kiara Pearce. Suspect currently awaiting trial for the murder of Khandalyce and her mother, Karlie Pearce-Stevenson:

IIRC he was captured near a phone box on the old road we used to take to Mandurah for family holidays. It was big news at the time and he wasn't on the run for long. Interpol were also involved in the search.

IMO It is hard to believe that Gary is still on the run in Australia or even alive overseas given the capture of Friedrich but Gary didn't commit fraud to the value of $292 million.

John was before his time. He was using the money to turn the NSC into some sort of Backwater. 20 years later businesses like that made a fortune, back then it was just weird, wrong, and pointless.

Never mind. My old device died and a new battery costs more than the device. Lost all my bookmarks, photos and .pdf's. Hopefully, my device was synced and they can be restored from the cloud. Different OS to current de ice so it's taking me some time to do *sighs*

Meticulously kindly pointed out that the $4k deposited into Chantelle's bank for liquidating her car was never drawn upon. That aspect of this case is curious. The video shows a modest household. They don't appear to be wealthy.

I noted on the cached website on the internet archive that cheques and money orders were to be made out to C McDougall. That suggests to me that Gary did not have a bank account set up. They probably sold a book or two a week as his income. She fried fish n chips. If they were leaving the country why wouldn't they withdraw the money. Seems quite elaborate to leave money behind.

Most people interviewed in the Doomsday Cult Family Disappears video say Gary is creepy as hell and controlling. Sounds to me like a sociopath. Suicide was a common theme throughout the video. Maybe someone shot him. What do we know about his mate Popic?

Another mystery – who is/was this Gary guy? Surely this would have been a perfect case for some familial DNA work if they could only find one hair from his balding pate.

This bloke Antonio Popic. He got a good reference from his boss at the hardware store where he worked. Some people just can't pick weirdos. There's definitely something wrong with this guy. Clearly a Yes man. He lived in the caravan.

If he did jump on that train maybe Gary asked him to assist in a suicide after the car was sold. He always did what he was told to do at the hardware. Maybe Popic had a dark streak. We need Operation OMEGA timeline to look at the critical time between the selling of the car and jumping on the train.

Here is the hero image off Gary's website. A reverse image search on tineye brings up a dozen hits. Some are dead. Some may lead to Gary if he is still parasitising. I think you really have to have a head for this stuff in order delve deeper.

There are probably a lot of local people and interlopers up to nefarious activities in the South West who wouldn't want the Police looking into their sources of income. Possibly 1 of them scammed the doomsday cult out of their money and hid the bodies. IMO police should be asking if anyone down there suddenly paid off their debts or were flush with unexplainable cash when they weren't doing so well before.

Probably the former. There's no evidence any of them are alive. There might be another party involved in their disappearance IMO. Someone had to drive them around once they sold up their vehicle and they had to have somewhere to live after they did a bunk on the rental property. Maybe it was a private land deal with a financially desperate local, and when the small group turned up with a wad of cash for the transaction on the property, and it became evident to the seller that no one knew where they are, it could've just got too tempting to do them all in with ratsack and bury them and keep the cash and the property. There are a lot of small hobby farms and weekenders around Nannup. If they're buried on a private property, they might never be found. That's my hunch, and why a closer examination of Sir_Laughs_a_Lot and other locals is warranted IMO. I think Gary would've been found by now if he was alive.

Thallium was used in rat poison before 1974. Apparently all your hair falls out. Shocking way to go. Now it is anticoagulants. I once had a conversation with an expert in a specific field of science. I don't recall the context of the conversation but we somehow got to poison. In his opinion ingesting stonefish poison is untraceable in the system.

Maybe the hardware owner can remember if Popic had problems with mice before they left. He worked at a hardware. I wonder what was in his toolbox...

The story back in the thread said he bought his caravan with 5k iirc . trying to find it now but can't . Pretty sure that was the story . Sorry no link found
