2 minds about it. The thing is that the money is untouched, so I lean towards a scenario where they're deceased, but no bodies being found. SLaL's explanation is about as realistic as an alien rapture, or a Chinese submarine trip.

Ahh Charles was Christina's mother's companion. Here is Christina's obituary. There is no mention of her partner here. Who is the person that visited Nannup with Christina and likely committed suicide?

'Si' was discussing suicide in his very last correspondence to a confidant who talked him out of it. Maybe that was the last discussion on the gateway forum or that theme preceding his last correspondence. I wonder if WAPOL got the transcripts from the gateway forum. Either way it is good idea to to discuss using nembutal to 1. exact a real suicide, 2. fake a suicide or 3. as cover for foul play. It seems unlikely that any perps would have accessed that information around his last days.

Just on the previous owners of the newcall.org website I can confirm that I have had no response. Is there a general statement amateur sleuths can use to compel those who are harbouring information to come good? Surely it is in the best interests of the public in missing persons cases for them to do so.

With a removalist?
Locals loot the house?
Did they pack any luggage?
And, where are the bodies?

Interested to know who bought their possessions toward the end. They sold their prize dogs when settling their affairs. Maybe they had a garage sale which would in turn give a buyer prior knowledge of their intentions

Just confirming in the doco that WAPOL state Simon Kadwell's real name is Gary Felton. The camera moves away from the detective when he pronounces his name though. It has also been reported in media with three variations:

This slippery bugger also had variations of Kadwell. He used Kaddy in Canada and was also known as Kadwill.

I conducted a search on ancestry.com for a Gary Felton born in UK within +/- 2 years from 1962 and had 13 hits. He may or may not be one of those Gary's. One of those hits was spelt Garry. He spent time around Glastonbury and apparently went to the University of Cambridge according to forums previous listed above.

Kadwell's writings were influenced by movies. The Matrix being one of them. His favourite movie of all time is called Powder – a movie the whole family used to watch all the time according to a friend on the doco.

The story is about a who has the highest intellect in the history of mankind. His brain possesses a powerful electromagnetic charge. Sound familiar? It's made by Disney. Upon the release the writer/director was a convicted paedophile and his victim from the previous work Clownhouse rallied to stop it's release. Critics also slammed the film being an allusion to a child having power over an adult, in reference to Salva's history as a sex offender. Explains the burying of the magnets around the house.

Thanks watergirl I presumed Jean wasn't a dude. Are there any questions we need to ask him of his experience with Kadwell? It's spelt out pretty clearly in the feedback and emails. I wonder if he has a theory as to their whereabouts.

If Charles was her mom's partner for 33 years then they may have had a close father-daughter relationship. Can't rule him out completely.

Ms McDougall’s parents have accused Mr Kadwell of brainwashing and seducing their daughter when, as a 17-year-old, she started babysitting for him and his partner, Deborah, in 1998.

The above extract is when they were living in Melbourne. Deborah was his wife and they have a son too.
