Looks like Aireys Inlet is only 124kmk from MCG not sure why you would not come home after the Grand Final?? 90 minute drive not that far.

I'd be surprised if husband and kids drove to the MCG – would have taken a lot more than 90 min to drive to Aireys Inlet after the GF – all of Richmond was effectively shut down afterwards

Makes sense to catch the train back to Surrey Hills or drive back to eastern suburbs hours after the match

I'm just wondering here...
so, RB (neighbour) last saw Elisa in bed Saturday night?
Why? How?
Was it because, as some have speculated, Elisa was in fact inebriated, and needed help being put into bed? Or maybe because RB happened to see Elisa through the window as she left for work? (Not sure how close their houses are.) Or maybe she just checked on her to be sure she was OK?

And the time, of 22:00-ish Saturday night, still stands, correct?

If Elisa had been so inebriated the night before, surely she would not have been so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for an early morning Sunday run...

Waiting for more tidbits of info to be released. :waiting:

I agree totally. We live 50kms from cbd and husband and kids didn't get home until after 8pm leaving straight after game . Particularly as their children are quite young it would make total sense to drive to the closer home.

It's a lot longer drive than 90 minutes too as someone stated !

I've only read she was last seen by 'a neighbour'

If the kids did come back with him Sunday morning at 9am I'm guessing they would have to have left Surrey Hills at about 7am. That's rather early given the big day they would of had the day before.

I thought that too. Pretty early start for 3 kids. Dad would have been up early to get everyone organised.

Not if you are making the most of the holiday house and school holidays. If they went home after the game it wouldn't have been that late . As I said earlier, mine were home at 8pm 50 kms from cbd. Surrey hills is closer so too

I think the husband is genuine. My kids and husband went to grand final as well and left poor me at home. Tickets were like gold nuggets . I'm thinking an accidental slip and pup has run home distressed because of this

except he, the husband, worked in a major role for a massive hospitality company and is a board member of the aha, he could have easily have got her a ticket.

Sorry but that is wrong. I know plenty of people genuine Richmond supporters in higher up positions than him that could not get to tickets . Believe me

But nobody is questioning whether he went, and Elisa stayed home.
Or have I missed something?

I was at the understanding they 48 hours was the offical timeframe one would have to be missing before SES and police would set about looking for someone- an adult that is!
So before the police where called , were her friends and family contacted? Asked any questions? Did hubby ask neighbours?
How after her missing for what might be only hours they launch into full scale search is baffling to me? Curious [emoji848]

Crap. RB is the only one they've put out there, and timed her blurb on the video with "last seen by neighbour" -- but you're right, I guess I am just assuming.
Shame on me. :thud:

sorry but that is right ALH (who own and run hotels, event and gambling venues and retail liquor giant bws) is a major major client of Carlton Draught who are a "major partner of the AFL"(second only to toyota) and are a subsidiary of woolworths who are, in turn, "official partners" of the AFL. He is just below Bruce Matheison in the organisation.

No, I just wasn't sure if I'd missed it?

They are now saying she was last seen by a neighbour, I'm just curious as to which one?

I thought RB said she went to work? I might need to go back and review

Exactly one of the things I was thinking.

I also wonder if it was perhaps taken down by husband, for privacy; or by the family in general after she went missing --
-- in anticipation of the ensuing media feeding-frenzy...

See now as we’ve learnt this woman had opinions ( and happy on many occasions to share them) and like others have said I can’t see her taking her life without a few swipes at anyone on the way out OR as the loving mother a letter to her children declaring love and asking for forgiveness?
In my experience suicide is rarely something one does without a trail of information left behind. Mmmm?

[h=1]Mother, 43, who mysteriously vanished WASN'T out for a run as police first thought - as a neighbour says he saw her in bed the night she disappeared[/h]

Why does the DM article above use the HE pronoun for the neighbour that saw her in bed? However, I can't seem to find the neighbour's name in the article.

No you haven't missed anything . Someone had pointed toward it being strange she hadn't attended gf with the family. I was pointing out also that just because of his role at work ect would not by any means guarantee him tickets or be able "to easily get one for his wife "

Still doesn't guarantee him tickets. a very close family member is very high up at Carlton draft. Two tickets max every year .

AFAIK, It hasn't been confirmed yet which neighbour saw her in bed, which neighbours she watched the football game with nor which neighbour's house the dog was found behind. This could all be the same neighbor or different ones. I have only seen one talk to the press so far.

For arguments sake he may have got 4 tickets takes his three kids with him. Who knows if she even wanted to go or liked the game. My original point was that no it isn't odd that she wasn't with them.

I don't think it unusual the Elisa didn't go to the football. Probably was wrapped to get some 'me' time.

As far as the neighbour(s) go I don't think they are always referring to RB.
