What a tremendous security risk he was/is. A sitting duck for honey traps, a walking advertisement for contact-me -for info-during-pillow -talk, a bloke with no self control, much less self respect. The list of ladies shows locations of mainly what might be termed allies, but who knows?.. That might be the tip of the iceberg.

Military men are prime targets for espionage and if money is thrown in the mix, ...... (especially those of a reasonably high rank, which he is, currently, but not for much longer, once the inevitable court-martial gets underway. ) Goodbye SQ.L and busted down to aircraftsman, then an exit.

Everyone has an ‘excuse’. .

But decent people know fundamental values. and can see through the diatribe. .. women can also usually pick them, tho some will choose to go there / ignore the warning signs for all manner of reasons.

While RC is less than a human being to me, and i acknowledge it’s no doubt been a heartbreaking time for those other women, hopefully they’re also saying thanks that they didn’t meet the same fate as Frances!

I'd be shocked to the core if he got bail... he has no small children to care for, he has no elderly parents reliant on him, on what grounds he would be granted bail I cannot imagine...... surely the air force can manage without him for a while...

Chances are poor RC is not holding up too well at his new homestead in Arthur Gowrie and thought he’d try his luck with getting bail. The article states:

I will be gobsmacked if he gets bail. Yes, absolute flight risk but also he could interfere with potential witnesses (lovers)

That article states that his Solicitor applied for bail on 25th October, 2024, wonder why it took 5 days for it to be made public?

Looking on the upcoming court dates, there is only the listing in the Ipswich Magistrates court for the 1st November, 2024, and nothing listed for the Supreme Court.

This Courier Mail article says that they filed an 'intent' to apply for bail on 25th Oct in the Brisbane Supreme Court. And that the bail hearing will be on 14th November.

Maybe it takes that long (5 days) for filed documents to be available to journalists who are watching the courts? In this article it is Shayla Bulloch, police and crime reporter, who wrote the article. I imagine, like most crime reporters, she does a bit of hanging around the courts.

My own cynical theory is , to warn the others. If there is one at this kind of hoohaa, there are whole squadrons of them. .. the message being, cough up before we make you cough up.. Clean up your private life, or else...

Yes, same reason they let people know that there were 21 registered sex offenders living in the Kendall area (William Tyrrell case) .... I think to warn them while they had the opportunity. 'Watch out for your children'.

In this case, it is "watch out for yourselves ... these 'fine upstanding people' might not be who they appear to be".
And "if you think you are Robert Crawford's 'only one' you are not".

His matter remains before Ipswich Magistrates Court, with lawyer Andrew McGuinness asking for a two-week adjournment following the first mention on October 11.

On Friday, lawyer Daniel Boddice appeared on Mr McGuinness’ behalf and asked for a further adjournment until November 1.

Cause of death in wife’s alleged mower murder still not provided as RAAF pilot husband faces court​

“A major development in the police case against a man accused of his wife’s murder – following a ride-on mower “accident” – has been detailed in court.

During a further mention on Friday, Crown prosecutor Chris Cook said 65 witness statements had been provided to Mr Crawford’s lawyer Andrew McGuinness.

Ipswich Magistrates Court was told further evidence was due to be received in the coming weeks, including a “biomedical engineering expert report”.

A pathology statement was also due in January, Mr Cook said.

Mr Cook said samples had been delivered to Forensic Services Queensland for DNA testing, but he clarified there was no estimated return date due to well-known issues with DNA testing.

The matter was adjourned to November 8 for a further mention.

Mr Crawford has also lodged a bail application in the Supreme Court, which is due to be heard in Brisbane on November 14.”

Hi All - I just had a look at the Court Data Australia Database (I have paid subscription) and see that RJC has apparently Probate in the Supreme Court listed on 35th October 24. Would this be him lodging?
