It only gave the first name, which MSM has now stated.

Thanks SA, I read it as being a name of a perp, when you clearly meant the name of the child...too much coffee this am...

A toddler in the South West who sparked a frantic search is understood to have wandered off from a short-term rental property with his two family dogs.

Authorities are searching for the three-year-old in the area around Karli Rise in Yallingup, with the boy believed to have wandered off from a property on Karli Rise with the two pets.

The dogs returned to the property — which The West Australian understands is an Airbnb the family only arrived at last night — without him.

snip

The boy, who searchers have been told is named Jimmy, is believed to have wandered off around 7.30am.

BBM - I understand that the dogs arrived back without the boy, but OMG I wish they would write that better it sound like the family arrived without the boy.

I am not sure. Maybe alert on your own post (report button) and check with a mod?

Found Safe TX - Ezra Parrish, 3, New Waverly, 27 May 2017

They are sometimes found. Even in the US and a state that’s been so beleaguered by Covid. It happened 3 years ago much like Karli’s case, in a piney woods a 3-yr disappeared from the family’s campsite. He was found a day later after a diligent search.

Hopefully this search ends well too.

So mum dad and toddler and dogs arrive at a Airbnb in the middle of nowhere, and within less than 24 hours he has left unnoticed with the dogs! The dogs come back without the boy! Is that the basic story? Moo

This article states he was in the yard with the dogs, parents went inside briefly & when they came out dogs were there but James wasn't ..........

A frantic search continues for a three-year-old boy who went missing while playing with dogs outside a house set in dense bushland in Western Australia’s south, but there are concerns locals trying to help will trample clues.

His family is visiting the picturesque surfing town of Yallingup and last saw young James with the pets in the yard of the Karli Rise property they are staying at about 7.30am.

A WA Police spokesman said they went briefly inside and found he was not there when they returned, but the dogs had remained.

I hope someone saw which direction the dogs returned from. It’s a short stay accomodation, possibly Airbnb so hopefully he’s not far away because city dogs might’ve got lost as well although the dogs might’ve followed the yelling back.
