Considering she's o/seas its strange her car is out on the street.

Considering the biccies aisle, there could be other cars that need garage access without having to move another car out of the way.

A Current Affair team was filming a story this week ahead of the one-year anniversary of KR's disappearance on June 29.
The TV news crew were with former homicide detective Charlie Bezzina when they saw Vasko Ristevski, the brother of Ms Ristevski's husband Borce.
Mr Ristevski appears stunned when he sees the news crew but he ignores questions from Channel Nine journalist Martin King and quickly gets into his truck and closes the door.

So this ACA segment was filmed before the police conference yesterday. So Charlie's views should not include cars being snapped on cctv, well not from the location at least.
Guess we will get a walk around of the area and a closer look at the logs.

I am not buying it was just coincidence.

So, what is that in the middle of the car? Looks too big to be a dangly thing hanging from the rearview mirror. Is it another head? I have also tried enlarging the pic, but the outline does not become any clearer.

Nothing wrong with VR lurking around the site, funny how people see it as a suspicious when family members don't visit the site, then again when they do it causes drama.

Google searches on ipad are more interesting, do we have dates when he was doing searches?

I think it is extremely strange for anyone to visit the site almost 5 months after the discovery of Karen's remains. Surely it would be more appropriate to pay your respects at Karen's grave at Williamstown Cemetery. I find the entire family's behavior to be bizarre from day 1 of this tragedy.

OMG! It looks like a person! It also looks like there is someone in the passenger seat too.

On this photos i think you can see on the passenger side it is the headrest that is visible.

Call me crazy if you will, but I've always felt that is a small, fine person driving. Perhaps that's BR in the back and they decided to make a family outing out of it!

I agree. I think it's a really strange thing to do. It's not her grave site, it's where she was dumped. You see loved ones marking these places in other tragedies, but in this case it is just bizarre.

Just having a look back at Andrew Rules articles.
What investigators did work out not long after Mrs Ristevski vanished from her double story family home last June was that mobile telephones and possibly cars connected with her family had travelled northwest from Avondale Heights soon after she was last seen alive.

Police were certainly treating the accidental find very seriously, as soon as the news broke just after midday. Local uniformed police blocked all the rough dirt tracks to the spot near the intersection of Salisbury Rd and Loch Rd and, just in case, noted the details of cars and drivers who turned up.

The last time Mrs Ristevski was seen was June 29, a Wednesday. It wasn’t until July 2, the following Saturday, distraught daughter Sarah told police and made a plea for help to find her mother. Six days later, police interviewed Borce, who maintained he and Karen had argued at the house over finances before she left for a walk to “clear her head” about 10am.

The rear seat is very small. Looks like it is a fold down seat, that folds down over a couple of inbuilt storage bins.
People on some forums I have been looking at are even wondering how old of a child could sit in the back seat.

Could it be the shovel then, as somebody else suggested? To me it seems unlikely you would have it that visible though, but I guess it's in the right place.

You would think he would have taken the bigger car they own. Still seems like his goose is cooked. What did you leave behind Vasko ?

I am hoping it was not Karen herself. If rigor mortis had set in, and she couldn't easily be placed in the boot ..... :(

Surely the shovel would have fit in the boot, after looking at TGY's pic further back-thread.

I think it is really strange, too, Chewie. Especially if he knew a TV crew was filming there that day.

It is not as if he brought along any flowers to place at the disposal site ... for the cameras.

I am not sure the SLK class has that rear space. It has big roll over hoops behind the head rests and that may be what is seen in the back.

Roll over hoops.

Yes, I wasn't sure as I couldn't find a specific SLK rear seat picture ... just SL series.

However, it appears that the object is in the middle. Not on one side or the other where headrests or hoops would be.
