1. Was Karen At Work on the 28th and if so what time did she leave? IDK.
2. Was Sarah present 28th-29th prior to 10am? IDK.
3. Unable to ascertain whether all CCTV or Moblie ph pings have been examined, ruled out. IDK.
4. Have forensics been done on home phone, vehicles , relatives? The vehicles and home were searched and nothing was found IIRC. The others IDK.
5. Has The Dept of Defence (behind the househould) site been thoroughly searched. Police said they were searching 60 hectares in one interview I watched. Whether that included the Dept of Defence site, IDK.

So in conclusion, to paraphrase Socrates 'As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.'

I don't think anything has been revealed about the car forensics. They are are being tight lipped! We really know nothing aside from the fight, the time, the clothing and the cash, and that she went upstairs before going out through the garage. And the contact from AR in the weeks before.

The point I was trying to make about store locations was based on what someone said up thread about Karen wanting to build a celebrity clientele. With all of the amazing shops in Melbourne I just don't believe broad meadows or Taylor's lakes is somewhere that you would scout as a shopping (fashion) destination, hence the business failure.
I completely agree. And until recently I lived in Melb's inner west. Broadmeadows and Taylor's Lakes are hardly haute couture regions. And sure their house is around $1 mil but even shacks are worth that much in Melb these days. They're hardly high flyers.

That's what 'old' WSers call a 'hinky feeling', I believe. I also agree that Karen's disappearance is not all that it seems.

Just like this.

You are more than welcome. And when I say this hmm middle aged european lady was dressed/groomed to the 9's. After being in the shop for nearly 5 minutes (being the only customer) - she never asked once whether she could assist.
I like shop assistants like that lol. I cannot stand the ones who pounce on you as soon as you walk in the door and never leave your side. If I need assistance I'll ask. Some assistants are told, do not come across as pushy, let the customer come to you. Maybe this was Karens way at running her Boutique. (?) Who knows! Still, a friendly "Hello, how are you today? Let me know if you need any help" wouldn't hurt anyone. Wonder why she didn't at least speak to you. Could it be others have been in the store asking questions about Karen and she's decided one way to avoid the questions is to avoid asking if one needs assistance?

The reference was made to the location of her stores and her wanting to build a celebrity clientele.
Oh I see..sorry I completely misinterpreted what you were saying.

Good point, Unit45. I have been thinking that Karen 'had a bad day the day before' at work (because they apparently argued over what to do about bad sales immediately before Karen's disappearance) but she may have stayed home, or gone elsewhere, and had a bad day.

ETA: Someone has transcribed Borce's words on another site, and it appears that he did say the bad day was at the store the day before. Presuming that could be easily verified by police, so it probably is a matter of what time did she leave.

We had a ahh b ahh bit of ahh an argument ahh in regards to, um, the store figures, and um, how she was going to you know improve them, and, she had had a bad day the day before at the store, um, and on the Wednesday morning, um, she just went upstairs, um, and then came downstairs and just went out through the garage, ahh, she might have just walked down the street or just to clear her head because that was the last thing she said to me, um, I’m gonna to go and clear my head, um, can’t do it here.

http://*******************.blogspot.com.au/2016/07/passing-smell-test.html (from a statement analysis site, so I think opinions are considered rumour, but this is a transcription so I hope it is allowed)
Here is the link where Borce says those things. https://www.9now.com.au/a-current-affair/2016/clip-ciqk3yo1t002g0inw18rnnstw

That's what I've been looking for SouthAus.

NOT ONCE DID HE CALL HER KAREN.
I've heard this before, maybe it was Kristy Abrahams speaking about her daughter Kiesha. It was a hinky moment for the detectives.

Police shift focus in hunt for missing Mum Karen Ristevski

Two cars were seized from the Ristevski home as part of the investigation.

The cars have since been returned according to a WSer on the ground. Of course, police will be tight-lipped about the results. Nothing has been found AFAIK but I doubt if the cars would have been returned if they were considered evidence.

I do now, I'm quite embarrassed I reacted the way I did

I agree but you have to look at context. In other words was his an answer to a question in which Karen's name was used? Or was this a statement. There are subtleties. Words are often misconstrued without the accompanying facial movements, tone of voice, inflection, body language (or lack of sarcasm button or accompanying emoticon as we've all witnessed or been involved in on WS).

That's how I saw it too, it has been said there was a tinge of 'image over substance' and 'keeping up appearances' surrounding the family ie that they wanted to appear well off while being unable to maintain the lifestyle financially, also I think we were having a dig at the pretensions of her wanting a celebrity clientele image for a boutique shop on the suburban fringes. People aren't saying the area was bad in itself or that people there couldn't afford labels, they were saying that Karen couldn't afford HER image or lifestyle.

I wonder if she is a relative on Borce's side.

Minimising words were used a lot ('just')
Pause for thought was used a lot ('um' .. 'ahh')
Borce did not use Karen's name or call her 'my wife' (distancing)
Was Borce being forceful or blaming? (they had an argument about store figures, and what was she going to do about it)
The skip in time where 'she' went upstairs, and then came downstairs and left.

It could be that the skip in time is a very important event.
Most other things are justified by Borce (eg: she always came back, she'd had a bad day) but not the skip in time.

These are not my own thoughts, but they are thought-provoking thoughts. lol

I guess it makes it all the more difficult when searching cars for evidence if they were used regularly by both Karen and Borce.
I remember early on in the investigation Police were referring to a 'second site' of significance, was this ascertained to be the river or somewhere else altogether?

I don't read it like that at all. This is the quote

TA: Anthony, do you want to make a comment about your police statement?
AR: No.
TA: *scummy media questions*
AR: no comment
TA: Are you still in contact with the police?
AR: I've got another interview with them later in August
*slams door*

I don't think he's pulling any puppet strings.

The point I was making is that the police would not wait until later in August or within a month (splitting hairs) for a further statement from anyone who was a definite POI.

Here is the quote from the msn article to which I was referring :http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...d/news-story/75ebaacfe5d224946b5ab8c637bf5a6a
"He would not comment further on this when approached at his home in Melbourne’s semi-rural Diggers Rest yesterday. But he confirmed he would make a more detailed statement to the police 'within a month.'"
