Remember the last video clip, not very long ago. The detective said they are making great headway. He could have said nothing.
These things take time. There is not always a very quick result. There are lots of cases right here on WS that have taken some time for a result, but a result has been achieved through diligent, painstaking, quiet investigation.

The age when he went to live with them .... just has me imagining a troubled teen ....too hot to handle for mum and its the old ship em off to Dad to sort em out scenario.

I'm also surprised that *if* the allegations are untrue, he's not been slapped with defamation.

BR may not be SM savvy but SR is: I'm wondering how all this is affecting her.

totally agree... i have been in that mind set from the start. The family is acting too weird, too secretive, too quiet. If that was my mum or my wife I would be searching hi and low..... talking to everyone... asking people for help. but all the family want to do is lay low.... And I don't think SR is innocent in all this. I fear this will turn into a cold case.... its nearly 2 months and nothing new has come out.

Soooooo……….it seems AR (in his mind) would have an emotional motive to harm Karen.
What if AR is trying to justify to himself and family why he had the right to kill KR by coming out with his accusations against Karen NOW. (if he is the one responsible).
Its like he has put himself in his fathers shoes and said well if I was you this is how it should have been done. Fathers/Mothers protect their children at any cost.

Maybe the extreme (murder) did happen and now he is trying to get everyone on his side to show how hurt and affected he was as a child (his allegations) and then at the same time reassuring us that she is still alive and hiding to get out of it.

So maybe BR and SR are quiet because at this point AR is dangerous and emotionally unstable due to his drug use.

AR is angry, real angry cause nobody is paying any attention to him, including BR. AR thinks he is hurting BR by calling him all the names under the sun but it's backfiring. The more BR ignores him, the angrier AR gets. I take my hat off to BR. He's a bigger better person by ignoring AR and his tantrums. BR is more than likely used to AR's behaviour, it's nothing new to him and SR. BR has far more important things to worry about, like, Karens disappearance and rightfully so. MOO

We don't really know if BR is ignoring AR, only that he isn't responding to him on social media. For all we know he could be calling, texting or even dropping in on him. But my personal opinion is that BR would be keeping his distance specifically if the accusations have truth to them...

Correct, we don't really know which is why I always add MOO after my post/s. I'm only speculating like most in this thread. I'm telling it how I see it, doesn't mean I'm right, I hope everyone understands that much. In my opinion, the police would have advised BR to keep his distance from AR, actually, I believe BR knows to keep his distance from AR anyway, without anyone having to tell him and NOT because the allegations are true, but because AR is mentally unstable. All MOO.

Sorry if this theory has been put out there but could it be that KR has done a runner and SR's behaviour on media could be because she knew/knows about KR's plan? Perhaps she logged onto her mums fb to let her know the media part was working? Could her business have been sending money to a different/new bank account disguised as an "employee" to be used wherever she's escaped to?
It's just a theory but SR's demeanour does bug me a little TBH.

Can someone confirm if there is a new house being built next door please?

One local said definitely not and another said there is.

1) Would there be workers at 10am in the morning at the site?

2) If so would there be rubble at the site, say bricks or lumps of concrete that could be used as a weapon. Someone hiding behind the 6' colour-bond fence.
