What was the length of the holiday AR had and is their knowledge to provide where he had accommodation?

He'd be coming out with ideas and possible new mates, but that just the way i think........

Not sure I understand U45. AR may have had a licence and 'lost' it, then had to resit exam, driving test, etc, to get it 'back'.

As for BR's uber driver angle. Do you think it may be a cover for something?

No, no 'lifts' for me, thanks. I catch buses or travel with a group of friends.

If BR visits AR inside(which he did) , with that concern hes more than likely to want to follow it up when he gets out.

Did somebody book an Uber? You might be picked up in a Grey Vw tiguan, driver by the name or BR.

Was looking through my husbands past uber rides (trying to see how the app works) and looky looky who appeared. I asked him about BR, said he was a really nice guy, had been doing it for about 8 months and enjoyed it. This was from december 2015.

Would seem strange if the Australian Ommitted such basic information when they have pretty well dissected this mans life.... and dug out some skeletons along the way.

All along we thought the mortgage and the business etc were in Karen's name. I thought possibly for tax minimisation or similar.
Now we read that Borce took over her business four months ago. Why the reason for the change??

I'm assuming Borce has nothing so it would be to escape the creditors.

It would not protect the home on the caveat. Did he scam her out of the shop somehow so he can have the profits?
Driving is the easiest job to do IMO it's a no brainer if you love driving. Is that really all he CAN do?
He owns the shop and Karen gut-busted in it and he's mincing around having a chat spending up on fuel. The car is not on LPG or a hybrid so it would be expensive.
Was that what the fight was really about and was Karen sick to death of his spending?

Yeah, I have a lot of questions.

I have a feeling The Australian with their financial nous and LE are helping each other unravel this tangled web.

For BR to be Uber driver is source of income desperately needed considering their other businesses and still to keep up with their 'good' appearance.
I bet that very few people knows if any that he took a second job.

MOO, but I am still relatively new, is that if we aren't allowed to sleuth family members then posting such photos would be a no-no.

I'm not a member of Uber, and I don't plan to be, so I'm not sure if you can request a certain car / driver. But I would suggest that if anyone wanted to hunt out this information they'd be best to do it off this forum in case it is breaking the rules (i.e., sleuthing family members).

ETA: Yes, you can request a particular Uber driver (as found via a ride share information site) - see below. But this is pasted just for information, not as encouragement for anyone to break the no sleuthing of family members rule.

How to request a specific driver, or get a specific passenger

Let’s say you’re a passenger and you want to get a specific driver, or you’re a driver and you want to make sure that this passenger can get you. As long as you’re in any normal area and the passenger is sitting right next to you and you’re online, they can request you and boom. They’ll get you since you’re the closest driver.

Now, there are a couple situations where this won’t work, and that’s at airports. Well, airports where Uber isn’t banned. If you’re allowed to do Uber pickups at airports, they actually use a queuing system. So it’s kind of similar to that Lyft algorithm but it takes into account basically ‘take a number.’ So the first Uber driver in gets the first request, and then the second driver gets the next request and so forth.

So, that actually won’t work at an airport. I know what kind of spurred this question or this video was that someone emailed me and they happened to be on airport property, and they said that they couldn’t figure out why. I explained to them why this was happening, how the algorithm worked on airport grounds, and that if they would’ve just driven a half-mile off of airport grounds then it would’ve worked.

The only other time it may not work on Uber if you try to get someone that’s right next to you is when it’s a really big or busy event. So think about a football game getting out, a music festival getting out. When there are a ton of passengers making requests at the same time, that tends to screw up the Uber algorithm. So you guys got to really be careful that you don’t cancel any fares because you can’t find them.

The one thing you do have to watch out for is that Uber does crack down on this from time to time. So, you have to be a little bit careful about if you’re always giving rides to the same people to stay active, for example. So, let’s say you get that two-week notice from Uber that you need to go and give a ride, and you give a ride to your friend every single time or your wife, or even your own passenger account. Now, I’m not guaranteeing that Uber is going to bust you for this, and when I say “bust” they generally put the account on hold. They’re more worried about fraud than anything. Uber has a big fraud department, so they’re worried that there could be a potential fraud.

I’ve had a few drivers email me where that exact situation was happening and they were getting people, their wife for example, to come right next to them and request a ride, and then that would put a fraud alert up on Uber’s dashboard or computer algorithm, whatever they use because the same person was requesting a ride over and over and over from this guy, and that was the only ride that they were giving. That’s something that you guys want to keep in mind. Now, if you guys get any type of warnings from Uber about any of this type of activity, consider yourself lucky that they didn’t kind of immediately put your account under hold or under fraud, or whatever it is that they do, and kind of make sure that you don’t do it going forward.

The only way you could confirm this is if he had driven you, he would then be listed on your list of rides as a driver.

I think that business, house or cars doesn't matter which name was on it was used to escape paying taxes or bankruptcy and it was changed probably on their accounts or lawyer advice.
I respectfully disagree with you and think that BR got awoken of Karens big dreams in fashion and tried to put and suggest some changes and disagreement was about pervious days takings in their shop.
Their employee said that he was very supportive of Karen and I believe that she was very proud to admit that their business was failing.

Thanks for the link, Gardener. It seems as if BR is not publicly at odds with AR's theory about Karen's disappearance. He doesn't really discount her 'doing a runner' in this article; just that it wasn't 'over finances'.

I have to disagree with his point 'No one knows what happened...' though. Unless Karen passed away due to misadventure, someone knows.

'The husband of missing Melbourne mother Karen Ristevski has revealed for the first time the reason for their argument the day before she disappeared.

Borce Ristevski says the pair disagreed over a sum of hundreds of dollars but the money was not behind his wife's disappearance.

"No one knows what's happened. I wouldn't want to speculate," Mr Ristevski told the Herald Sun in his first interview since his wife vanished.

"My main concern is getting everyone to understand that Karen hasn't done a runner on the basis of our finances.

"It had nothing to do with our financial situation.
