Our very sweet Doc Watson.
This amazing surgeon gave us his valuable time and precious experience throughout the Baden-Clay case.
He'd tell me to breath, just breath TGY and then prescribe a Valium milkshake. We all laughed and cried together.
Unfortunately we do get overwhelmed in a case and a little light relief helps. I, and I can vouch for many others here, are NOT laughing at others misfortunes. Actually, we care. That's why we are here.
Exactly TGY. Even the police will use what they term 'black humour' when things get too stressful. I've heard it many times and some of it would undoubtedly shock people.
And while I'm on the subject, when typing the written word it is sometimes difficult to convey an emotion or feeling and that's why we have emoticons to insert into our posts. IMO none of the posters that have used emoticons to date have been disrespectful to Karen or anyone else for that matter.
While following various horrific cases on Websleuths it's always good to sometimes have a good belly laugh to break that horrible tension of not knowing, feeling helpless and frustrated that I can't do more to find the missing child, the murderer etc. etc. We Aussies are known for our wicked sense of humour even in the face of horror and that's the way I like it.
Love ya work TGY
