The one you had is on Gisbourne-Melton Road, same road as the tower..... the one Bo had is on Diggers Rest- Coimadai Road, which is just slightly south east of the tower and road of the dam you pointed out.

Im not sure if the dam is important at all.....apart from the fact that a helicopter flew over the area and film footage was shown on the news...... given it is only a few Kms west of Diggers Rest....it may just have been part of the overall story ....images above on the immediate surrounding area.

Haven't seen any msm mention of any dam in the area having actually been searched...... but I may have missed something.

Thanks Puggles. So where was the dam that Bo mentioned?

The blue pin.....

It is the closest dam to Digger's Rest that's accessible by car and somewhere that a car wouldn't have to be parked on the side of a road:

7 News Brisbane (see tiddles24's post below) broadcast that 'a dam near Toolern Vale' was searched by police:

Karen could be simply dumped in some bushland off the road.
Not necessarily in water.

When was the last time Sarah made a public plea for help?

Is the homicide squad involved in this case yet?

BR left home at approximately 10:15-30am. He arrived home at approximately 12 midday. That covers the two hours that his phone was switched off (as reported in MSM). It takes about 20 mins up the Calder to drive to Digger's Rest.

BR's phone last pinged near Digger's Rest. Maybe he turned it off there.

Just how far would you need to go, ditching a phone near Gisborne and finding an isolated site, to conceal anything else you needed to conceal, and get back to Avondale Heights, possibly via Digger's Rest, around 12ish? No more than 15 to 20 minutes away from Digger's Rest is my guess.

Somewhere near Blackhill and Mt Aitken Roads, Sunbury/Gisbourne South(?) could be another likely spot in this case if it was a 'round trip'.

The fact that all this info is coming out for the day of the 29th....... Im having thoughts that Borce didn't have enough time....too rushed.

Could it be that Karen went out that morning directly to AR's before work.... then when she didn't arrive, say between 9am and 10 which would be normal start of trade hours, staff called Borce.

Unanswered phone calls got him worried enough to head up to Diggers Rest to AR's...

I mean the whole going for a drive to test the fuel gauge is laughable. ..... but if he was trying to cover for AR he could say that if he thought Karens car had been spotted on the Calder...

Mmmm.... messy....

Thanks. They're close though. LOL. I thought I was onto something there. From memory MSM did report recently that police were searching a dam in that area, hence the reason Bo posted the pic of a dam. Not to worry, I'm sure the police are checking not just the dams in the area.

Are there any speed cameras, red light cameras or point to point cameras on that stretch of the Calder?

Probably not until they establish their primary crime scene. The site where they find Karen's remains. Missing Persons Squad until then, I think.

Tiddles24's hasn't given a link.... not saying it isn't true..... but the flyover image of the dam you had or they showed on the news isnt confirmed as the one ...if any..that has been searched.

Thats what Im looking for...the confirmation of any dam in the Toolern Vale area as having been searched...

Now a turn around of thinking...... if its AR then water disposal is possible, but my gut says if BR is/has been involved in a coverup aand assisted in disposal..... then no water burial. .only an opinion...lol...nothing to back that up...

I'm also wondering if the intention was for BR to give Karen a lift to work that morning. An argument ensued on the way and he made a detour and things turned ugly. IMO AR has nothing to do with Karen's disappearance. He decided to crawl out from under his rock of self pity after MSM published that she was missing. He is relishing in the limelight but IMO he doesn't deserve the time that has been devoted to him on this thread or in MSM.

They are all together as we are, Im committed to assisting 24/7

The only one I saw was the day of the initial press conference. I don't know if there's been one since then.

Yeah, they'd probably be involved unofficially. No Task/Strike Force announced yet though, or that the case has been referred to the Vic Coroner as a suspected murder, either. Mere formalities at this stage; methinks.

Was the radio plea after the police station appearance? - "she went ballistic"?

From memory the Major Crime Squad is involved, which encompasses homicide.

Where is Karen?

I will find this woman.

Ohhh ok....
I haven't seen msm reports of a dam search....but Ive been sidetracked...

If there's a link to that...and someone has it..??

There are dams everywhere in the area and surrounding area. This is semi rural area with lots of homes on acreage all with Dams.

Id rule out private residential dams unless someone can find a link between BR or AR knowing someone in the area......even then...ewww

I have a dam..... disposing of a body in dam is a really stupid idea..... and no friend would let you do that....and if you murdered someone the last place Id think youd dispose of the remains is in a friends dam...

No no no....
