Just lately & I know its been discussed here before, but for some reason I can't stop thinking about where & why Karlie's card was used in Deakin on 19 Dec '08.

There's a set of shops in Deakin & a Servo (opening hours 6am to midnight at present) with an ATM but the card was not specified by police as being used at an ATM. Theres also a KMart Car Service Centre attached to the Servo, but DH has been placed in Wallaroo from 2.15am on the 19th so I doubt it was used there. Then theres the old Embassy Motel which was adjacent to the shops. It was demolished in 2009. Could DH of frequented, stayed, visited associates at this motel? Is this where Karlie's card was used. I'm just lost as to where Karlie's card could of been used in the small suburb of Deakin with the time frame prior to 2.15am on the 19th???

caller knew what number because caller had to retrieve information and call back hence told number to quote. Happened to get same operator as previously a few minutes earlier.

I have been going over old material of when Karlie was first found.
I found a news story of the fallen tree and that she may have been buried but the fallen tree unearthed her.
Also a fire helped clear the undergrowth so that she was visible.
Also .. Karlie was actually further into the forest. My first pic was correct and the second was miss directed.

There are many places it could have been used.
The Embasssy Hotel wouldnt be for him. Diplomats had stayed there.

Police allege that Holdom murdered Khandalyce at Wallaroo between 2.17am on December 19, 2008 and 12.52am the following morning.
This doesnt mean he was in that area the whole time. Could have left the area and frequented Deakin in that time.

I personally wouldn't rule anything out, even the motel although it appears & seems unlikely ... anythings a possibility in this perplexing case.

Agree, Symbah. Anything is possible. Maybe if the motel was beyond his means he might have known someone who was staying there and paid a visit. TOS prevent me from elaborating / speculating.

If we knew when she got out of Adelaide Hospital Care. I went round that one back a way. I think she was released later than this Deakin date. Correct me. I want her to have been in the ACT

I wonder if DM was his legal name at the time of the accident or just an alias he was using at the time.
Can you sue someone knowing that is not their real name?
Is that breaking a law?

It just seems odd that we have a case in SA = DM and one in NSW = DH but they are the same person.
