We know now that's not true don't we? He obviously played a man of straw very well.
Wouldn't harm a fly, helpless caring Daniel fluffing about in the kitchen with his dishcloth, babysitting the kids, shy and easily dominated. Couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag! Well now we know he has ice in his veins, no empathy, greedy and calculating, self serving, charming when he wants to be.

I believe to know WHY .....
When DH had the accident with HP and her children there at one time afterwards had been an investgation re s*x *abus* of the 2 dead children, in connection with the car crash. Later this part of information had been redacted (therefore no link available). - I think we have to wait for the trial to hear more - IF at all.

Thanks Symbah, we are starting to get a clearer picture of how things unfolded.
My assumption is that first woman BBM would be HP and the second would be that teenager from Canberra that he was engaged to briefly. Of course there may have been other women he was involved with that we don't know about.

His sister played a role also. Hadn't she found the birth certificate of little Khandalyce or belongings of mother/daughter?

Beforehand, he allegedly stopped at Woolworths and bought duct tape, dish cloths, soap and garbage bags.

At the motel he signed a registration form indicating he was checking in with one child and one adult.

"That appears to be the last record of any kind of Khandalyce being alive," Magistrate Les Mabbutt said on Thursday during the committal hearing.

Police tracked Mr Holdom's mobile phone activity the next day through South Australia.

Yes, there was a towel found that matched that used by the hotel. Don't know about the lettering case and type. There has been no mention of that to date.

Interesting why he would list the child as a guest, therefore leaving a trail that could later lead to him, if he was planning to kill Khandalyce in the motel.
There is just so much bush out there. So many lonely deserted
spots he could have done the deed.
Here's a theory for you (and it's IMO).
What if he was planning on trying to get back with his one true love .... back to Adelaide, back to the arms of Hazel, who was waiting. All ready to forgive him his monstrous betrayals, his leaving her in her darkest hour to run off with KP.
I wonder if the police have records of any phone calls between Haze and Dan during this period.....
Maybe she gave the orders and said if you want me back this is what you have to do....

It's hard to know what his best solution would have been. He was known to have left Canberra with the little girl. If he was really taking her back to her family in Alice Springs, she would have been with him at any motel stops along the way. I wonder if Khandalyce was actually seen at the motel. If she was already dead, checking her in might have been an attempt to leave evidence that she was at any rate alive at that point.

I can't help but wonder if there was some truth to those drug running rumours. It might explain the trophy photo if there was a price on Karlie's head. In no way does this make Holdom's actions any less abhorrent IMO

I feel he was alone because he went away with Karlie to Belanglo, came back to Charnwood than the picked up Khadayce before heading to Wagga. It is 2 hours drive to Belanglo from Charnwood (4 hours return) and 2.5 hours to Wagga. He might have stayed the night in Canberra before driving back.

I don't know if DH took a photo of Khandalyce in the suitcase at her last destination? Or did he take a photo only of Karlie at Belanglo State Forest?
I remember when pics were released by police of the location where Khandalyce was placed I had the impression to see a blurred out person posing like a big animal hunter with his trophy (trophy being somewhere in the background). Later the photo was gone. IF the pic ever existed as I meant to saw it then there had to have been someone who photographed. :thinking:
