GUILTY Australia - Kiesha Weippeart, 6, Mount Druitt, NSW, 18 July 2010 - #2

  • #761
that photo of kiesha visiting the hospital is so sad, she looks bloated and ill, she always had her mouth closed, and im wondering if her teeth had been punched out.
surely close family saw how unhappy she was, i realise it would have been hard to intervene with kristi being so volatile but one of them could have gently offered to take kiesha for a week to give her mother a break etc, the violence and stress at this time was obviously escalating. no wonder the other little girl is nearly mute!

There is only one picture of Kiesha smiling and showing her teeth in her photo gallery.

Can't get used to seeing a confessed murderer sit passively as court hears horrendous details of crimes. Kristi Abrahams shows no emotion.

Around the time the little girl was murdered by Kristi Anne Abrahams in July 2010, her mother warned she "would hurt her, kill her" because she was sick of her "s***ing and p***ing in bed" and "playing up at school."

Kristi Abrahams faces sentencing hearing over Kiesha's murder
By court reporter Jamelle Wells
Posted 11 minutes ago

In his opening address, prosecutor Christopher Maxwell QC said Abrahams told police Keisha was well cared for and loved in a happy family environment.

Mr Maxwell said Abrahams told police Keisha was like jelly when she put her to bed and when she woke up the six-year-old was not breathing.

The court heard Abrahams did not seek medical help for Keisha.

What about the baby that died when he was 6 weeks old too, let's not forget his cot death may also be the result of abuse, I don't believe that was investigated.

Mr Maxwell said Abrahams' father would give evidence at the sentencing hearing that she had called him shortly before the murder and said she was "sick" of her daughter.
"He will give evidence [that] the prisoner said to him words to the affect of 'I'm sick of her, she 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and pisses in bed, she f---- up at school ... I will hurt her, I really will hurt her ... I will kill her'."

"The impact was abnormal and unnatural. The recipient couldn't have had any idea as to what was happening."
Mr Maxwell said that on the basis of this and other evidence the Crown would be arguing that Abrahams had intended to murder Kiesha or at least cause her serious bodily harm, as opposed to the woman's claim that she was guilty of "reckless indifference to human life".

Coroner says death of Kiesha's baby brother Aiden Abrahams was not suspicious

By Clementine Cuneo
The Daily Telegraph
August 08, 2010 10:43PM

A SPOKESMAN for the NSW Coroner has confirmed an investigation into the 2002 death of the six-week-old brother of Kiesha Abrahams found nothing suspicious.

Looking at the death of the first child to see exactly what happened will be part of the investigation," Detective Inspector Russell Oxford said.

It is unclear what the outcome of the post-mortem examination was, or who determined the cause of death.
