I have it from a reliable source there is a lot more to this than may meet the eye. Whilst nothing excuses the taking of life at times the behaviour of others can lead someone to believe their own life is in danger. Alleged perpetrator knows the area like the back of his hand and this will come down to either he does himself in or the police wait it out. Either way the future is not bright.

Moo....do not see that as blame at all. That is reality it was not his child of course he will be angry she was his partner when she got pregnant. Killing people did not change that fact.
Imo the article and headline goes to justifying the alleged perpetrators actions or mitigating them on account of the victims actions. This is absolutely victim blaming - it's fits with a dangerous narrative for women... 'well she deserved it then'.

I find the fact they even reported on this disgusting but I also feel that it's what people want to read to avail themselves of facing harder truths.

This is society looking for something to justify or mitigate a much larger broader social issue. If we can find blame in the victim we don't have to hold the mirror up to ourselves.

Nothing justifies what he did. Nothing.

Moo... It's reality. Of course killing is not the right way to deal with issues.

Extensive AVO history of missing alleged gunman Julian Ingram ignites calls for tougher laws to protect women

“Multiple women had asked the courts for help before Julian Ingram allegedly shot dead three people, including his pregnant ex.

A large-scale search has now been going on for a week, with it being revealed Ingram had been granted bail by both police and the courts on domestic violence-related allegations.

7NEWS believes he reported his whereabouts to police just eight hours prior to the incident.

He was also subject to an apprehended violence order (AVO) from the court, applied for by police on behalf of Quinn.

In the years prior, Ingram was also subject to similar orders against two other women.”

People cheat all the time. The vast majority deal with their anger in much better ways than murder - murder not only of the cheating partner but also two other people he wasn't in a relationship in. There is simply no excuse whatsoever, and no 'provocation' worthy of any kind of defence.
