Yes! The Prosecutor is calling it how it is.

BBM - I would have loved to have watched Tedeschi when he prosecuted the vile Ivan Milat.

Second Photo - I don't believe her behaviour would be acceptable to SG, which makes me think she isn't really his girlfriend.

In a funny way I think that is the exact behaviour that attracts controllers - and the same behaviour which they see as needing control over. It attracts and repulses - its the challenge - and when the submission process is complete the controller feels they have 'won' the prize (something that others may want but cant have) - control and complete devotion. Though that doesn't mean they trust that controlled person. The leash will always be short. The controller will try and cover every leak area by isolation, denial of resources such as money, communication, time management. Though the controllers behaviour is not to be questioned or doubted. Yet it should be. They try to force the hand of the controlled into situations where they are tested, and where more control (which is now done through degradation) is necessary. The controlled maybe perfectly submissive yet the controller will place them in the wrong - blame them for being weak or have something 'abnormal' about them - which the controller may have caused - and which the controller will exploit by 'complaining' to friends/family/associates. The strength of character and vivaciousness of the controlled which was once the drawcard for the controller has been coverted and poisoned to the point where the will cannot function adequately for healthy survival through choices, decisions and independence. Their defense mechanisms are dwindled to nothing and fear of retribution is fear enough itself. The controlled persons ammunition has been spent, and they languish in mental/physical pain with very few, if any, options to stop the assault.
Maybe in Lisa's case, this is what happened. But in Lisa's case it seems she may have broken the rule. To let someone know what she was going through. She shattered the controllers illusion and fascarde. (sp?)
That would have infuriated and outed the controller - who would venomously deny everything, trying to regain their (perceived public) image and reputation. They rely on their past 'complaints and concerns' about the controlled person to place the blame squarely on the victim. They wonder how the victim could do this to them (they say this to others), while wanting to quickly discipline the controlled back into submission - shut them up - demean them into altering their confessions - or threaten them in some manner.
No one tells a controller that they are leaving. You just go - and make sure its a long, long way away - you are surrounded by people that know you and know the truth.

I hope Ms Loiuse has good friends down the track.
and I hope that there has been no mention of 'I'll wait for you'.
JMO.

Crown re: absence of Lisa's fingerprints on glass - 'how could anybody possibly climb over a 1.2m balustrade without holding onto it?'

Fistpump for the Prosecutor!

Fistpump for the Prosecutor!

I always wondered how high that balustrade was and now we know - Lisa was 1.78m tall.

"But the court heard he had promised to pay for a trip to Canada to see her mother Joan if his 1.78m tall partner got her weight up to 50kg through training."

Tedeschi says that was Gittany "deliberately trying to plant the idea of suicide" in the mind of the officer he told.

Matthew Snelson ‏@mattsnelson9 8m

Gittany said "it was like she knew it was the last conversation they would have. It was like God knew."

Matthew Snelson ‏@mattsnelson9 9m

Gittany told police shortly before Lisa died, she was on the phone to her mother and was laughing.

Matthew Snelson ‏@mattsnelson9 12m

Lisa had her handbag when she went off the balcony. Tedeschi says she was 'physically restrained' from moment Gittany put her in headlock.

Matthew Snelson ‏@mattsnelson9 16m

Tedeschi "How on earth could Lisa Harnum go over that balustrade without leaving a fingerprint?"

The cctv in the lift which shows him throwing his hands to his head "that gesture.....is a gesture of regret of what he had just done"

Matthew Snelson ‏@mattsnelson9 4m

Tedeschi says the cctv captured Gittany leaving the apartment with 'no great urgency.'

Is that why she was screaming for her life?

He claimed he saw her climb and fall? He alleged suicide? Where was his concern for his beloved fiancee who had just jumped to her death?

Tedeschi also goes over the claims of witnesses- one who said Gittany poked Lisa in the head after the fall.

Where was the shock and anxiety at your beloved finacee, lying dead on the footpath having just jumped to her death? Where was the concern for her life?
