Has it been mentioned anywhere about the damages she was claiming? They usually ask for a set amount. But $180,000 seems far too much. How can they justify that amount?

Tread very carefully Mr Fordham because she'll waste your time too.

'She is a piece of work'
'this lady's a train wreck'
'She makes excuses for her behaviour'
'Shes an attention speaker, she's a liar, she's a wannabe celebrity, a fake and extremely gullible'.

She had no memory of the whole thing (Star casino incident)? How could you forget!

Thank goodness there is the US radio interview for her to listen to her own lies - and a lovely video she stared in from the Casino to jog her memory of how she continuously provoked and inflamed the situation.
I have that radio interview somewhere... maybe on a hard drive in the roof :drumroll:

At what point do you delete a thread off your screen saver when justice has been served and the murderer is in gaol?
Why can't I delete LISA HARNAM?
Maybe because I know that new GF will raise her ug*y head....yet again.

I now know why I can't delete this memory of Lisa's horror of domestic violence.

Lisa Harnum’s family thank the Hills community for providing a safe refuge for women and children fleeing domestic violence

Joan Harnum knows all about domestic violence.

Her daughter Lisa was thrown off a 15th floor balcony by her fiance in 2011.

Lisa Harnum who was killed by her fiance.
This week she and her son Jason travelled from their home in Canada to the Hills for White Ribbon Week.

They have been guests of The Lisa Harnum Foundation, a Hills-based organisation for domestic violence victims set up in Lisa’s name by Aileen Mountifield.

At the White Ribbon breakfast at Castle Hill RSL on Wednesday Mrs Harnum accepted the keys to the drop in centre for the Lisa Harnum Foundation fromSteven Leigh from QIC, the owners of Castle Towers, and thanked everyone involved in providing a safe haven and support for women trying to escape domestic violence.

‘When your daughter passes away it is a travesty, you wonder if they will be remembered,” she said

Yes Joan, your daughter Lisa will always be remembered.

NEARLY 1000 community leaders and residents, of all ages, took a stand against family and domestic violence this morning, by taking part in The Hills' inaugural March Against Violence.

Castle Towers' owners QIC handed the shelter’s keys to The Sanctuary board at White Ribbon breakfast at Castle Hill RSL, where the Lisa Harnum Foundation was also given keys.

BALCONY killer Simon Gittany has lodged his appeal against his conviction for the murder of his fiancee Lisa Harnum.

More than two years after Gittany, 42, was found guilty of throwing Ms Harnum off the 15th storey balcony of their CBD apartment, the appeal will have its first mention in the Court of Criminal Appeal next Thursday.

It is expected a hearing date will be fixed for later this year.

When sentencing Gittany in February 2014, Justice Lucy McCallum said she considered his prospects for rehabilitation “an arid prospect.”

Simon Gittany appeal starts in NSW court

The judge who convicted Simon Gittany of murdering his fiancee Lisa Harnum by throwing her from a 15th-floor Sydney balcony did not adequately consider whether a key witness's memory played tricks on him, a court has heard.

Oh for pete's sake! This is the type of barrister that makes my blood boil. They grasp at straws! This tragedy imo, was always an open and shut case, not many are.
There's video evidence of SG dragging Lisa into the apartment! In 69 seconds, she's thrown from the balcony to her death!!
The witness saw a bundle of something fall from the balcony at precisely the moment Lisa was thrown off! Did we need pictures of that too, to keep this ******* in jail?!!

If SG was a reasonable person, which he clearly is not, he would have let Lisa leave! What was he afraid of?! She'd leave him, of course!!! He knew he'd never get her back!!

Sounds like the defense are 'tryin-it-on' i.e. discredit the only eye witness. I doubt it'll work.
My opinion only.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend our hard earned taxes.

This IS a good outcome.

Sending our group love and hugs to Mrs Harnum.
