Account of bruises on Lyn's throat 'unlikely'

The evidence given by a former colleague of Lynette's, in which she recalled seeing bruises on the mother's throat is unlikely, Justice Harrison said.
The woman told the NSW Supreme Court during the trial that after a marriage counselling session Lyn came back to work.
The woman said she asked about bruises on Lyn's throat, and claimed: "She said that Chris had grabbed her throat and shook her a little and said 'if this doesn't work, I'm getting rid of you ... I am only doing it once'".
Justice Harrison said the marriage counselling session had taken place during Lyn's lunch break and it is unlikely bruises could have formed that quickly.
He described the incident as "unreliable".
