Years ago Chris and Paul Dawson the separated for a day, this was on a news program and both said they hated it and would never ever be separated for a single day again, that's why they're always close to each other, some say Christmas Paul and Marilyn went on holidays to Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast New South Wales ? If Chris is involved then you can count Paul in as well Plus, Paul Dawson and Marilyn Dawson's police statements about going away are conflicting
Why? One of them said they borrowed a caravan ,the other one's said it was a campervan?..... one has a motor the other one needs a car to tow it. Columbo knows Truth and so dose Paul.
Nice pickup and I am not saying you are wrong because I really have no idea where they were.

It took 37 years for Chris Dawson to be charged after Lyn's murder. It was 17 years after the first coronial inquest that said that Chris Dawson should go to trial.

Paul and Marilyn were interviewed in 1999 17 years after Lyn's disappearance so to get details wrong may be just forgetfulness or terminology.

The point I am making is that it look a lot of investigation to prove that Chris Dawson was guilty of murder. There would be very little possibility of proving that Paul or Marilyn were away or in town and given the evidence to convict Chris was based on circumstantial evidence very little possibility proving that there was an accomplice if there was one.

Some of it makes sense that he might choose a weekend where he doesn't have any family members around so he is not implicating anyone else.

I did not register before tonight that Lynn, as well as leaving her glasses behind, had left her contact lenses.

No one. NO one leaves their contact lenses behind. What a lack of insight the Northern Beaches Police showed...
Question.... 8th of January Lynette Dawson's work the childminding place, did she have contact lenses on there or glasses?.. because if she was wearing contact lenses atWork you think she'd be wearing contact lenses at night ......hey Chris ..hey Paul

I believe dead bodies are heavier than live bodies.

Let’s say you have to carry two types of bodies: a live body and a dead (or at least unconscious) body. These bodies both weigh a hundred pounds or 45 kilograms, so there is no difference between the two in terms of mass. However, you may find that it is easier to carry a live body rather than the unconscious one. This has a lot to do with the physics of center of gravity.

If the person you are carrying is alive, they can adjust their weight and distribute it so that their center of gravity’s location makes it easier for them to carry. Whichever way you choose to carry them, they can adapt and put their weight where it is appropriate so that you can carry them. In some cases, it is even possible to carry someone bigger than you during times of emergencies when you have to carry someone away.

A conscious person can adjust their muscles and resist gravity, so instead of letting their arms fall limp, they will keep their arms around your neck (if possible) and prevent their legs from flailing around so you are less likely to drop them. Because they are conscious, they can physically act as one unit and keep control of their limbs.

On the other hand, an unconscious body means that their center of gravity is in the default position, making them unable to adjust. However you try to carry the person, there is no physical support from them because they won’t adjust their body to the style you’re carrying them or where their center of gravity ought to be to make your carrying style effective. Add in the fact that you have arms and legs that rigid or will flail around as you attempt to lift the body as a unit, making it difficult to hold onto their body alone.

In short, a conscious body can actively control their limbs and specific points in their body to adjust their weight and make it easy for another person to carry them. However, a dead or unconscious body (as well as any other inanimate object) only has a default center of gravity and has multiple parts that can weigh down their bodies if they cannot control it.

Estelle you are so right about the dead body and normal person could not carry dead weight because it be like jelly.
The Hitman scenarios more plausible than C D getting rid of the body or even C D killing LD, that Friday night why ?
1 ,P D babysitter recounted an event we're C D PD CJ and PD babysitter was in the car, CD and PD would take the two babysitters to other schools, where they taught PE and physics to girls boys at other schools, and the two babysitters would be in a room
at the school doing whatever they did.
So this babysitter P D babysitter, said they drove to a place, CD when inside come back out and took out from the glovebox of the car, a paper bag from the glovebox assuming it was money a payoff ,went back inside come back out of the the car and said that's taking care of , CD is too gutless to kill someone or get rid of a body, where would he start ? So if Chris Dawson was too gutless to.kill.her by his own hands because he needed an alibi for Friday night ... who was the hitman......? Driver? Because L D didn't drive,so The web lies of CD PD the whole family on his side with a sightings that never was, phone calls that did not exist, phone calls to the bath pool C D worked, if a phone calls made to where PD worked , who was that woman who made that phone call and Saturday afternoon , not L D because she was dead friday night! ,so who was the woman MD?
PD babysitter also stated as evidence that PD said that something terrible had happened and they had to leave.... meaning leave to Queensland, but nothing happen. Why? What was so terrible that happened that would have to make both Brothers leave with there families..... murder.

If CD gave Lynn a "lovely drink", maybe he also gave the little girls something to make sure they slept soundly that night?
Chris and Paul Dawson did not drink there favourite drink was Coca-Cola, L Dawson didn't drink ,she was not a social drinker ,so?
If you plan a murder ,you plan your alibi or have someone as an alibi? Someone you can trust 100 percent, Like in a cult leaders have full control over their disciples ,A very good case in a movie the Colombo movie, murder by the book. Probably the best Colombo movie ever made, one thing to consider while Watching the movie, just think of Dawson case?

Does anyone think that he eventually found someone to kill Lyn for him?? I don't think so. There is no honour among thieves, someone else would have blabbed, and they would , the brothers, have had to have forked out a fortune, with no guarantees of lifelong silence. It doesn't make sense...

I think he poisoned her. The girls were there , sleeping.. Notwithstanding that BadenClay did the same while his kids were sleeping, battered Alison, and then left the kids alone while he drove 14 miles to the creek. He was so offended when he was questioned on this, why wha.. I would NEVER leave my girls alone, but he did. Facts bear that out , so it is possible to kill someone while your kids sleep on.
That's what I think he did that Friday night. And spent Friday night digging a place around that house, yes I know they have searched, they should pull it apart, brick by brick. Or the burial site is close, very close.

Every killer has as much hours in the day as you or me. No more , no less. They have to fit their crime into the same structure of urban living , street lights on, people walking the floor with a new baby, the old man coming home late from a booze up at the club, a kid with a toothache... He had to move fast, between Lyn's last breath and his appointment at the Northside pool for work, plus get the girls up and dressed to take with him.

I , like the judge, discard the drive to the bus stop at Mona Vale to 'go shopping'. It doesn't scan , in time and space, or in any dimension.
Are dead Hitman 2016?

RBBM

It could also be explained the other way - knowing that something would happen that weekend, the other twin made sure he was away so that he was not implicated.

Not saying Paul, and perhaps even Marilyn, weren't somehow involved. But don't get the impression Chris Dawson couldn't have picked Lyn's body up on his own. Chris was a big, strong rugby player and Lyn was not a large woman. Think fireman carrying woman out of a fire.

Are dead Hitman 2016?
You have to imagine you are Chris Dawson, if he was simply to get rid of his wife on Friday night, he would be implicated in her disappearance and murder.
You need an alibi, so what was the alibi Friday night........?

I'd love to know his movements, ie did he go to Bunnings and buy a shovel, did Bunnings even exist then.
There must have been other hardware stores then, ie Mitre 10. Tool King? etc.

No one seems to have come forward saying they'd seen him in the time period in question, or neighbours remembering seeing him in the garden or surrounds.
It's such a long time ago now.

I suppose torture is out of the question ?

Just kidding ;)
Sometimes you just relax, everything has been planned in advance payment given an accepted the deed with the Devil delivered, a Hitman would have told him the date and time ? all CD had to do is make an alibi for himself ? and continue the alibi into Saturday, pretending everything's fine even up until late Saturday, CD used his good charm to lie to family and friends about phone calls,
So if LD was not a drinker, and definitely not a social drinker, and CD lies about a sexy drink on Friday? Why because he couldn't stop lying.

Its none of my business but i can't help wonder about...the dialogue between Chris and his brothers whilst they visit him in jail ... sure, they can keep denying the facts but the fact is one of them is now behind bars ..for the lies...will one of them ever admit to knowing about how Lyn died? Hmmm

Sorry to be a bit morbid but my total guess is that Lyn was probably being drugged with heroin ... easy for them to get...

The truth is only Chris can tell who iHitman was, maybe if he's scared in jail with all the death threats from inmates , he might want to make a deal ,but I'm afraid like most people wondering where her body is, the mystery will remain a mystery until. Someone talks, only one person probably knows where the body is.....The Hitman ... but some people say they know who the Hitman is ? and you ,sometimes it's better to leave things Unsaid or Dead Men tell no tales.

Yes Chris is a big strong boy ,if you meet Chris or this brother ,they were like two gods, Greek gods, statue ,so yes he could probably carry a body .
With someone so close like husband .. all the relationships the ups and downs ,feelings for that person, to actually do that, it takes a person who's has no feelings no sensations ,to use his own hands to get rid of, actually get rid of the body as in murder then try and dispose of the body ,let alone carry a dead body... Chris it's pretty dumb ,and Paul is the smart one ,many people say and they forget a lady vanished, all that time ago, a lot of people have said ,when they meet Lynette, she's was a beautiful person inside and out Lynette would take the time to talk to you ,was kind and a nice person,That made you smile in her presence .
Lynette did not deserve to die, Lynette Dawson really was a beautiful person R.I.P. Lynette.

No surprise, but Chris Dawson has filed an appeal against his conviction for murdering his wife Lyn.

I hope he tries what baden clay tried.

At least that would be admitting that he did it.

Who is going to fund this appeal?
He made a deal with the Devil, the devil's going to fund him....sorry PD
Hard questions we need to ask P D
1.What do you really know about Lynette's .
Disappearance.?
2. Did you ever drive Chris Dawson's van the white one, registration plate kVC324?
3. Have you ever tried to interfere with a witness.?
4. Is Paul Cooper your friend or acquaintance?

ABC talks about "No Body No Parole" Laws being introduced into parliament this week in NSW.

"The issue has gained greater public attention in NSW after last month's conviction of former Sydney teacher Chris Dawson for his wife's murder in 1982.

The body of Lynette Dawson, who was 33 when she vanished, has never been found.

Mr Dawson, now 74, pleaded not guilty to her murder and is set to appeal against the conviction."
