In promos re 'Lynette Dawson' for Monday night, Current Affair, Channel 9, are stating they will reveal 'another shock discovery'.
Wonder what this might be!

I am not sure which friend of lyns it was now but just before the podcasts started she met him at the prelaunch?? I think.will have to fact check who and where but the bottom line was he told her lyns case wouldn't move forward because someone close to her had sighted her recently

I am curious to know why he went 'back' to soliciting, . .. probably more money in it, particularly, unlike his twin brothers, he threw off the shackles of the insular peninsular and headed straight for where the trouble and the money is, Sydney's western suburbs, where no one is busier than the local solicitor. ..

Gosh,, what a red line of inside information those brothers were privy to!!..

that explains precisely why Greg Simms was reluctant to push his barrow regarding Lynne's disappearance... a constable up against that brick wall was was just asking for a transfer to being an assistant at the council crematorium.

it isn't irrational or even far fetched to propose that it wasn't just information the Dawson twins had access to , but active and continual assistance in deflecting any investigation of Lynn's disappearance from progressing in any meaningful way.

Because not investigating it is so outside normal common processes, outside common sense, really, that the delays and obstructions that appear to enter into this matter with monotonous regularity, just as it appears there could be a breakthrough, it sinks into a black hole again, that one cannot but wonder if human hands, of a particular nature and professional capability and position were not holding the reins .

I am now curious if those people who wrote to the DPP, Mrs Andrews, etc if their tax matters were not investigated, their rubbish bins inspected, all this sort of vindictive effort to persuade people to lay down and shut up. I suspect they were all subjected to this kind of program.

Chris has been blessed with a lot of luck along the way. A hell of a lot of luck!

Who knows how close the police have actually come to finding Lyn's body? From Chris' continued and unnaturally high interest in the Bayview block there must be a reasonable chance Lyn is still buried there, and if she is, he has no choice but to sweat it out.

Chris has also been extremely fortunate to have had 'ins' at almost every level along the way and that has certainly also worked in his favour.

Imagine the interest if/when police start digging again. It will be like when they dug most recently for the Beaumont children. There was live coverage on-line of that.

The Australian has a limited proactive readership. If you want to reach ‘the great unwashed’ and have them baying for blood, release the story via the DT and/or on ACA. Then any wronged women and their offspring will start coming out of the woodwork; if they exist.

Both Ms Jennings and Ms Jenkins are adamant that after the 2003 inquest a lawyer with the DPP, Kai Kalda, told them Lyn was sighted by her own mother, Helena Simms, after she went missing.
