It was a relatively good story by ACA’s standards. At least they interviewed Hedley (and Lyn’s family members? Missed their names as I was listening, not watching) as well as doing the routine ‘reporter-on-the-chase’.

For those unfamiliar with the case it was an excellent segment. For those of us following it it was a nice little revision class.

Hope I wasn't the only one who cringed when the door closed behind them and it had a star on it. My God these guys are full of themselves!

I did at least see that. Bizarre relationship between those two men even now. They would be sweating and rightly so.

I wonder if they’re ‘wired for sound’ :D

They have been living the lie for so long now it has become their truth.

I reckon they would have headed straight to the bathroom, turned on the shower full flow and started whispering away trying to reassure each other there is nothing to worry about. Thing is, there is something to worry about.

No, you weren’t. Now I’m wondering if Chris has a matching one!

They probably have a cone of silence a la ‘Get Smart’.

Well nothing new. His house number is 6. That is all I got out of it. Hedley looking to increase podcast numbers. More likely ACA looking to get in on some of Hedley's popularity.

Have to disagree CH. not an excellent segment at alll. Just rehashing Henley’s info. This segment told us nothing we already knew. Just sensational hype. Where was the ‘startling new info exposed’ or however they marketed it? Nothing new in that interview that those following the case already knew.

Oh dear. I’m certain these teachers involved are having restless nights wondering what’s coming their way. Maybe you should have more thought for the impressionable young students you abused

In 2016 NSW scrapped time limits on civil action by survivors of child sexual abuse, paving the way for historical claims.

Alleged unethical behavior between teachers and students grew out of a bikini and beach culture championed in the 1980s on Sydney's northern beaches, according to the podcast.

A group of teachers would regularly mix alongside students at a local northern beaches pub, buying the impressionable, underage teenagers drinks, the podcast claimed.

Any teachers embroiled in allegations should have their career moves through the school system tracked and investigated, Labor’s education spokesman Jihad Dib told nine.com.au last month.

NSW Police launched Strike Force Southwood last month to investigate the alleged historical sexual assaults and student-teacher relationships at various high schools on Sydney’s northern beach

My wife and I have been following the story and listening to the podcasts, and saw it as nothing more than a revision session. But my wife was busting to see what Chris Dawson looks like now. So she was as keen as me to watch it.

Our kids knew virtually nothing of the story until they saw the ACA segment and they are now really interested as a result.

I think we all knew ACA wouldn't have any breaking news when Hedley has been digging so hard for so many years. But they had to sell their program and that's how current affairs programs go about it - always have.

Was she disappointed with Chris’ dwindling good looks CH? He doesn’t LOOK like what you think of when you picture a mirderer does he.

With regard to ACA at least it got awareness out to a wider audience than the podcast and newspaper articles alone. Who knows how many more calls the cops are now receiving with new leads. Let’s hope so anyway

My wife sees the Dawsons as absolute snakes. Women tend to be able to see past physical appearance - men of course struggle with that.

ACA covering the case will have increased interest in it by multiples.
