I can't blame Joanne too much. If you look at those photos of her, she does not even look 16, yet he saddled her with two little children to look after. She was a child, herself. She didn't get to grow up and be a warm person.

The missing woman's sister Pat Jenkins and brother, Greg Simms, appear on Channel Ten's Wanted at 8.30pm on Thursday, September 26.

have had a scout around and can not find any episode let alone this specific one via you tube.
there is an advert for the show but that's it.

any ideas on where we can get a look at it?
be good to compare what was doing the rounds 5 years ago if possible

I had posted it very early on in the thread which is why I knew it existed. I have watched it several times at different stages of the listening even went searching for some of the articles displayed in the newspaper. The one about the kiosk was how ladies at the swimming pool were checking to see if anyone remembered receiving an STD call on the day that Lyn had arranged to meet Chris, Helena and family at the pool. He did also work there part time but I think I remember reading that as part of the podcast.

somewhere within the podcast it comes up that chris tells joanne she makes him feel like an older version of...... (he names a jock in her year) kinda makes me think that he had a mental capacity of a 16 year old, his head space was certainly not that of a mid thirties man, married for a decade father of two, in the well to do suburbs......its mind boggling thinking that this man got through teachers college.
although Marilyn did let it slip that her and paul invested themselves heavily into chris's assignments.
he just cruised through life …...its pretty clear who really has been running this fiasco for 30 years.

coming their way should and could be....charges of perjury, obstructing justice, aiding and abeting, accessory after the fact, hindering a police investigation..... the list could fill a page!

and that doesn't even start on the school preying and abuse.

I would be myself if I was Paul and Marilyn ……..

she housed, accommodated, tolerated and carried on lying behind lyns back to support chris's pathetic affair with a school girl in his care.

and what was lyn doing through all this?
working, taking care of two very small children desperately trying(in her own niave yet mature dignified way) to hang onto the man she adored and accepted warts and all...

that delusional woman has mental retardation.

Kmac Lyn’s family are absolutely beautiful caring people. From the numerous reports it’s apparent that they put their faith in the police force to investigate. Lyn’s brother stated he was fearful of interfering in the investigation due to a potential conflict of interest.

In hindsight yes I absolutely think more should have been done but I’ve come to understand the mindset of her family and don’t for a minute put any blame on them. I don’t think they had the understanding of how to persue her case. They truly believed the crap Chris was feeding them and their faith in the police force to further investigate

I put the blame solely on the cops to whom Lyn’s original missing persons report was lodged.

I don't blame lyns family either, just ( should have been more pointed in my criticism) that they unintentionally let her down by their acceptance and kind, blind faith in chris.(during the marriage and early days of the disappearance)
the things the sister has said the mum has stated about chris was truly difficult to hear.
the confusion they must have felt when the penny dropped must have been very very cruel.
