Marilyn is certainly delusional. Is she accepting of the fact that Paul also had affairs with school children? Is her twin still so perfect? I still think she will be the key when charges are laid.

The phone call was an STD phone call. There was that article about people at the Kiosk at the pool checking to see if someone remembered receiving an STD call. If Paul and Marilyn were truly away at the time that Lyn went missing, then Marilyn could have made that phone call and the STD pips could have sounded. I know where I lived in the 80s it only took an hours drive to get STD pips to be just outside the metropolitan area.

From the link I posted above this is the first I’ve seen a mention of Chris’ parents who lived in Maroubra. Maybe I’d just missed it previously . How nice of Chris to have sex with Joanne for the first time under his parents roof. I wonder if the approved? Hmmmm?

July 1980: Joanne’s home life is troubled. Chris becomes her friend and protector at school, and she turns to him for advice during this period. Chris asks Joanne to become the family babysitter.

Chris and Joanne have sex in the house at night while Lyn sleeps.
