While during the podcast I thought the softsoil was the place to search after seeing the footage where they stopped the search I think around the pool is a big possibility too.

The photo from the daily mail of the house either showed new renovations to the house or a roof restoration job just being done. Lets hope the home is not reduced to rubble.

September 12, 2018: NSW Police reveal a new forensic search is being done at the former home of Lyn Dawson in the Sydney suburb of Bayview. Her family say they can only hope she is finally found, or that further evidence is discovered that could lead to an arrest, in the new search.

Lyn’s brother Greg Simms said the family was “a bit stunned” by the development. “We can only hope that they find something. If they find something it will vindicate everything we have been doing,” Mr Simms said.

“Anything that leads to more information that leads to an arrest. If they find Lyn that’s a double whammy for us — we’ve got him (Lyn’s killer) and we’ve also got her so we can put her to rest.”

5 day search including to the bottom of the pool. The pool was there when the Dawson's lived their so won't be removed. Most areas of the property are rock so may only be dug to 30 - 50 mm (3 - 5 cm).

Can't listen to that for now as I am at work.

Wasn't the house extended outward from where the girl's room used to finish, and therefore over the soft soil?

If Lyn's body isn't found around the pool, police will be faced again with the dilemma of whether to disturb the house in order to get to the now covered soft soil.

Let's hope Lyn is in the pool area - her family need closure.

 they should look behind every tree.

I am hoping that they search, dig, excavate Paul and Marilyn's place, too.. they were away, so they say, place was vacant...

I am haunted by that bloke in Victoria, I cannot recall his name, he murdered his wife, put her in a barrel in the garage, told the kids and all the rellies that she ran away with a truckie, managed to keep the secret going for 30 years or more....

Maybe Chris put the body in a barrel and took it up to QLD.. the fact that Chris sold that place, thereby giving up control of his crime, and the body somehow doesn't ring true to me. I can't see him doing that. I know my theory is outrageous, but all the evidence so far points to Chris 's controlling nature, way beyond the norm, and leaving her body there … I just don't see it happening..

There was always land behind Paul's place. I suspect though if it is like number 2 it would all be rock. 3-4 cm soil above rock is not sufficient to bury anything and it not be found.

.. it would be easier all round.. the cardigan is there, I truly think she was murdered at the home, while the kids were asleep , he left the kids to bury her.. ( Baden-Clay was offended that he would be accused of leaving his small children alone in the house while he took Allisons' body to Kholo Creek, but that's exactly what he did. ) … but that means, to me, that the body isn't hundreds of miles away,, it's , as they say , in the vicinity, somewhere.

And it isn't reasonable to assume her body would be in one piece, that cardy was chopped to bits.....of course, he may have done that when it was off her, but I doubt it..

I'm still not sure how significant the cuts in the cardigan are?

Assuming Lyn's body was buried near the pool, and after Damien Loone's perhaps near miss, maybe Chris did move her.

However, that Chris kept revisiting the home after he'd sold it, and asked 'where are you digging,' gives me hope Lyn is still there somewhere.
