Good point DRT doh!. Chris definitely wasn't in the good books with the neighbour who's name now escapes me so she wouldn't have been filling him in.
I just find it bizarre that he happened to come across the new owners digging/landscaping on one of his infrequent drive/run by's.

In today's world I am sure he would have.
I assume it was school holidays he was taking time off. Could be that he was getting information from council planning or do people need to advertise renovations in case there is any objection.

7 news reported that they had hit concrete they hadn't expected so needed more equipment tomorrow and that Chris left his brothers Gold Coast home early this morning and has gone into hiding.

Channel 9 news showed him fleeing his GC property that has recently been rented out. I think they said just weeks ago. That may explain the photos of Chris in the area with a crate of photo albums. He was there to inspect building works they said. Ch9 have been staking out the Dawson twins residences with no other sightings since the weekend

I hope they have Chris Dawson under surveillance as he has gone into hiding. I was surprised that the police do not even have his DNA or that of his twin brother - yet - who could have helped him. Marilyn, Paul's wife, must know something.

Apparently, Chris Dawson had talked about finding a hit man so I wonder if they can still find some DNA on the cardigan.

I wonder how Sue, Chris' third wife, is reacting to this latest news.

All his wives past and present I think are innocent. I think Hedley said in one of the interviews today that the cardigan had been retested. It would make sense that it has given all the other cold cases have had things re-tested.

Just wondering. And I presume the area would be under surveillance while the dig is on.

Maybe Lyn is not there, where they're searching but just beyond in the bush. Lots of hiding places.
