I do wonder if the Australian DPP will ask to close down this Websleuth page - as was done for the West Australian - Claremont Serial Killing pages.

Then media only pages will exist. No comments.
did the police really ask for that? i wondered why there wasn't much info around about that guy after his arrest.

I hope that the get the twin and his stupid, stupid wife for aiding and abetting.
twin reckons there is evidence Lynn was alive after she went missing.....ummmm where?

Very nice!

Please please let there be enough evidence.

This business of his family and their evidence that Lynn was alive pales into insignificance by the actual fact of Chris moving Joanne in 2 days later . Where would Lynn sleep if she came back ? he knew she wasn't coming back .

Conciousness of guilt.

Someone using her bank account or credit card. I wonder who that could have been?

How disgusting is that? Moving a teenage girl into his bed two days after she had gone missing? He knew that she was never coming back.
Joanne was a victim of his too. 16 years old. How old was she when he first started with her? I hope that they tack those charges of underage sexual contact on him too.

awfully suspicious that only his family ever 'heard from' or 'saw' Lynn ever again. Don't believe that for one nanosecond .

And he should be struck off for lying. I hope that they get all of them.

A few heads would roll.

At the very least, a review to see how it went wrong, and if those same erroneous procedures are still being followed.

Because it was a big cackup, ey, TGY. Big as, and someone's pants should be on fire about it.

The former babysitter for Chris and Lyn Dawson is one of the new witnesses that may be called to give evidence in the murder charge against the former footballer.

Bev McNally, of Cromer, has confirmed she is a witness and was relieved over this morning’s arrest of Mr Dawson for the alleged murder of his wife, 36 years ago.

She babysat the couple’s two young daughters.

“It feels surreal,” Ms McNally told The Manly Daily. “It is a happy day and a sad one. People have to remember that as well.

“His daughters have had their world re-shattered. We have to feel for them too.”

Ms McNally said the couple’s older daughter, Shanelle, was “coping’’.

“She was trying to prepare herself but nothing prepares you for this,” Ms McNally said.

So sad for those girls, but they need to know that their mother did not desert them. I imagine that he has been a good father to them as they see it now, but he deprived them of their mother's love and nothing can replace that, and I don't blame Joanne, a teenage girl for not being able to do that.

There was no evidence of credit card use after Lyn disappeared. I think it was a creative story at the inquest.

There were alleged sightings but from a lady on the Central Coast that used to embellish stories.

Sightings after people disappear are not always of the person.

Family members of missing people in some cases have identified relatives at times from videos at times when the person would have been deceased.

"yes" on the CLAREMONT SERIAL KILLER Websleuth pages...

Here is Trish's comment: Verbatim:

Hi Everyone,
Websleuths received a notice of suppression from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for Western Australia.

This is the first time we have received any legal letter from a foreign country telling us we must obey their laws.

The last thing I want to do is hurt this case so until I get back from a Websleuths business trip and have a chance to speak with our lawyers I am suspending all discussion of the Claremont Serial Killer case and have pulled the two threads that appear to be in violation of the order.

From my heart, I love Australia. I love the people. Law Enforcement men and women in Australia are amazing. The few communications I have had with them have always been very cordial and kind. LE in Australia has never made me feel like I was bothering them if there was something I felt was important enough to call. Unlike other law enforcement agencies who shall remain nameless but their initials are LA and it rhymes with 🤬🤬🤬 Pangelas.

We will get back to discussing the case but I want to make sure I am doing the right thing by the people of Australia and by our members.

Thank you,
Tricia Griffith (owner of Websleuths)

YES - it was "shutdown" only Media Page open. No discussions.

IMO this is going to be the filthiest trial yet Troops.
I heard on 2gb the Dawson family will fight tooth and nail because they firmly believe Chris is innocent.
If the likes of the Baden-Clays tried to discredit Allison this lot is going to be on steriods in comparison.

The Dawsons have a lot to lose, not least the reputation and possible licence of Peter Dawson, Barrister. And they have all dined out on this story for decades, the story being the wayward wife who abandoned her children, left a good husband to bring up the kiddies, and him a star rugby player , as well.

It is going to be beyond awful for them to come to grips with it, and most likely, hardly any of them ever will, even Lynn's daughter, it isn't a definite that she would accept a courts decision.

But I do agree, TGY, filth, filth and more filth, they will have to be winding up the crank about Lynn into-over drive and 5th gear, very soon, and establish a 'narrative' that might work, for them, and for Chris.

Where Paul and Marilyn fit into this story is the stuff of nightmares, I am convinced they are in so deep, so very deep they both may wind up in the dock as convicted killers.

It would not surprise me if both of the twins killed her in concert and Marilyn helped because she was very jealous of Lynn.
