I have:
8 June 2021 Police first contact at his house
9 June 2021 RB gave a signed statement to police at station (I think he just dropped it off)
14 Sep 2021 second police interaction, Ballina police station interview
Oct / Nov 21 at inquest, RB claims he was first contacted around this date

For 9 June, I have that he denied knowing Marion and having a FNR licence, but another sleuth said he only denied some of it then, and clarify when he denied what, but I can't find that now.

I think his June statement must have been where he talks about a pilot & Marion leaving stuff at his house etc…because he doesn’t provide those details during the inquest (I’m assuming his details match his Sept statement). He says at the inquest he last saw Marion at her home in Southport. He must really want to walk back that story about having her stuff etc. Seems like he must have already listened to the podcast when police arrived in June (wonder how he learned about the podcast).

I have no idea what R stands for. Its from the 9th of June 2016 and was at Byron Bay Local Magistrates.

4/12/81 FdH departs Australia for Luxembourg.

He swears this is the only time he returned to Aust during the period he lived overseas YET he *Obtained NSW Drivers License in name of CHAIM FREDERIC DAVID DEHEDERVARY. Address: 4/6a Rangers Rd Cremorne. on 29/1/1985.
How did he manage to do that?

This theory certainly seems to fit the timeline doesn't it? Particularly when a genealogy site lists an illegitimate child named Willy.

ROBERT COPPENOLLE was also arrested and held as a Political prisoner for 5 years in Buchenwald. Reason for arrest - secret information. Prisoner No.54085

Was Willy Coppenolle sent to Robert's sister, Maria Coppenolle after the arrest of his fiance? Then after Tournai was bombed, Maria was injured and both of Willy's parents were interned at Ravensbruck and Buchenwald. Willy Coppenolle was sent to an orphanage about 1942/3. Yes, the unknown fiance could have been a Hedervary.

Yes she moved to Federal with her boy a while ago.

My thoughts are this exact reasoning yes.
I have found other documents relating to the brother and family.
I was going to post a few days ago but we all seem to be steering towards the upcoming inquest.
I can post still if it's ok to do so.

It’s also possible at the time of their arrest he was placed in orphanage. So elements of his story could have truth.
