For those not able to watch the inquest, the current line of questioning is about RB opening the security envelope at Commonwealth Bank Ballina on 14 Oct 1997, AND a large transfer from Marion's account the very next day, 15 Oct 1997.

Casselden asks if it's just another coincidence. Same as the flights.

That's it for today

So when he gets pushed into a corner with facts (ie opening a safety deposit envelope at the bank a day before the large sum was withdrawn from Marion’s account, and closing the safety deposit envelope less than 2 weeks later) and Having the actual bank records placed in front of him, he just says the records are wrong - no other explanation other than that somehow all those years ago, the dates are just wrong ?! Maybe let’s change his name to The Man of Many Coincidences….

I need a strong drink and a ciggy, my hands are shaking from restraining myself from throwing something at him.

It took all I had not to just stop watching but I would hate to miss a big reveal

Thank god for that, I need a Bex and a lie down:p

That car thing is a real curve ball.

So does that mean the second car acquired by the deH in 1997, then transferred to Dianne 1998 and then transferred to the son eventually in 1999?

So they do have two cars ?
The one she used to drive the kids all over the country while he was living life on the French Coast and this one acquired in 1997 but had it longer than the 3 months as first stated in the last inquest?

You have to give it to AC - he is so good at keeping his cool in such a frustrating circumstance. He needs a bloody medal.

Because if so, WHY would Dianne say the car was bought for MdeH at the last inquest, and they only had it for 3 months

Something very strange going on here IMO

OK so one new bit of info volunteered by AKA today (equestrian interest at Palavas les Flots) is of interest in following up as Tamborine also was a huge equestrian, stables, ranch area.

EDIT: I am searching in French...

I
My fantasy is that they searched his home with a warrant, took extensive videos of the interior and Sally identified objects that were Marion's. Yep, I know. Just my fantasy.
love your fantasy!

I’m confused about the car - aside from The different stories.

did they keep their old car? Magna purchased and signed over to his wife.. but his wife was driving the other car?

so at this time did they have 1 or 2 cars?

and why the heck are their stories completely different?

did I imagine DdH saying the car needed a lot of work so they got rid of it?

Agree 100%. I think it's been a duo act all along.

It makes me think something suss about their ‘other’ car not the Magna

Evidence that DdH lied in her testimony!
