The Founders / Directors of the company with the 3 names were

DeH
Wouters
David ..............was this correct ?
my notes from the inquest say Ric Blum as the other name, found it interesting as this name seemed to be the last one to be pulled into his life (as far as it's known)

Of course Winchester Cathedral (and not forgetting Jane Austin‘s home) is just 14 miles away from Southampton Ferry terminal. I’m assuming he knows the area fairly well. Was he living/staying in the area before departing?

Peggy's passenger card (pg 975)
I couldn't find father under Gordon, so not sure if he goes by another first name or if he wasn't on ship.

Mother was also in UK for 1 year and 2 months, so it seems Diane was over there with family.

DW's mother was 50yo at the time so maybe she was celebrating her 50th with this trip and Diane was celebrating her 21st. Also she gave a different address in Vaucluse than DW did. She gave the address of 55 Olola Avenue, Vaucluse NSW 2030

I thought this was interesting in the timeline that I have been working on (screenshot attached). Potential connection between criminal activity and injuries and overlap between what WW lists on application and claim of meeting with MB in Switzerland. let me know if you think I am overlooking some more reasonable explanation

I thought it was Tony Gretch or Grech maybe check that.
The only place I can see this alias is in a handwritten list in NAA where it is spelt this way.

I’m sorry I can’t remember exactly what I did!! I’ve been doing lots of searches of the archives and I can’t seem to replicate it but I think if you go into an advance search and enter the series number that takes you to more information about the series and you might be able to find others in that series, if that makes sense.

Yes that is how I do it also. It shows up so much more lists!

I had seen this one too, made me smile with the occupation as 'bank officer'....
Unfortunately both "Bernard" and "DuPont" are very common French names and I think it will be difficult to trace without other ID information.

AC at the inquest said he applied for residency as WW, then changed name by deed poll to FDH so residency granted as FDH.
He applies for residency as WW based on marriage to IK in 1969 View digital copy
He applies to change name to FdH in 1976 just prior to marriage to DW. then applies for citizenship.
(based on docs in NAA)

Wasn't he already using the name FDH in Australia anyway, he had applied for leave to remain in May 69 as WW and it was granted in Oct69 as FDH after name change by deed poll.. I believe AC quizzed him on this name change.
yes he was using it also in 1968 on his company listing OS

This may be way off but..did he work with IK or perhaps her family?
Note address on the attached record for IK ...looks quite similar to 1964 entry on your attachment.

I have this in my timeline: 1968 business is formed between Frederick de Hedervary, Willy David-coppenolle, Ric Blum

Well even though IK lists hairdressing as work on most documents there is one where she lists occupation as manageress/ company (Fr: gerante/ societies).

I thought it was A also but I think it is a very hurried H as I noticed the A written in various places has a more rounded top??

I wondered if he stole the WW identity for the pension and compensation after the real WW (disappears). I'd put NOTHING past this weasel. Befriend a crippled man in a sanitorium in Switzerland and learn his life story over time. RB has a few leg scars from his own skiing or car accident - perfect! Walk away with all his documents, bank accounts etc. Might explain the number of memory "holes" like the name of his daughter with JL. Just a thought...

So I decided to do a search on outgoing passenger cards..
Here is DW from when she left the country.
Note her birthdate... it says the 17th and on the incoming card it says the 16th. And mentions she is british again on this document. I wonder if she has dual citizenship therefore 2 passports...
Mother was also on the same ship departing, but couldn't find father
