Cash may have been RBs idea...But you actually wouldn't draw out a large amount of cash to go and start a new life would you?

RB seems to like CASH only.Cash may have been RBs idea...
I've been busy! These jottings are just my thoughts. Don't judge me, please make corrections and I welcome additions. Don't know the limit of characters (word count) so I'll post in sections, and hope it works. Here goes…… ..n.b. Some of the underlining in Part 4 would not save no matter how many times I tried. Facts should be well known by everyone here anyway!I hope something is in the works investigation wise.
Everything seems to have gone quiet.
Hmmm...MBFB page sharing all we have found already on AKA thanks to NAA and Online newspaper clippings .
My only thought on this is that I’m not sure if the highway/bypass for Ballina and Byron etc was built at that time? It could have been that you still had to drive through Ballina at the time to go south?PART 2
11 Aug - MB's partner purchases a second-hand Mitsubishi Magna and returns to Brisbane to collect MB.
12 Aug - They both check out of the Novotel and MB does the 3 hour drive south this time into NSW, bypassing the townships of Byron Bay, Ballina and Wollongbar by several kilometers. Anyway, no one knows RB's new car.
They book into a motel in Iluka, NSW for 6 nights.
13 Aug - MB wakes up with blurred vision and a headache from her long drive and feels the need to get a check up. The nearest optometrist is a 1 hr drive away in Grafton so her partner drives her there and is seen by an optometrist without an appointment. They stay in Iluka for 4 more days whilst MB rests up.
MB's companion gets a phone call, saying "he has to attend an urgent meeting again and will be away for at least a month"! So, he suggests booking a short term rental, which should give her a bit of stability and homeliness instead of staying in hotels. He finds a cottage to lease for 8 weeks on the outskirts of the Northern Rivers area, available from the 23 Aug.
18 Aug - MB drops her partner off at Ballina Airport so he can fly to Sydney for his important meeting. However, unbeknownst to her, he taxies back to the Big Prawn where he is picked up by his wife, telling her he had car trouble and the car was in for a gearbox repair. (DdeH says they only kept car for 3 weeks as it was problematic.) They head home to Wollongbar.
MB drives the Mitsubishi Magna into Byron Bay and withdraws $500 and another $500 on the same day. The owner of the cottage had struck a deal with her partner, that they could have the cottage at a reduced rate for cash. Plus she needs some spending money for food, fuel and accommodation. MB then drives the Mitsubishi Magna 80kms to Burleigh Heads, checking into a Burleigh Heads motel, staying for 5 nights and visiting familiar surroundings. Her partner calls, saying he had arrived in Sydney but there could be an issue with the money, and she needs to withdraw it all in cash so they can safely return to Luxembourg without his cover being blown.
Sure sounds good to me. You make it all work and sound plausible. Poor Marion.PART 4
1 Oct - RB purchases a Safety Deposit envelope at the Commonwealth Bank, Ballina, NSW.
3 Oct - MB's 52nd birthday. Partner surprises her by arriving at the cottage with flowers for her birthday. She proudly shows him the cash and he immediately knows it won't fit into the envelope and there is still a lot more to come!
7 Oct - RB cancels safety deposit envelope. Stays at cottage, planning how to do last, big withdrawal of MB's money. Bank information tells them that such a large amount must be withdrawn from the branch where the account is held! MB reminds her partner about her superannuation which she can't access until she turns 65 years of age and anyway, this is her "nest-egg" for Sally and Owen.
14 Oct - Partner opens a Safety Deposit Box, Commonwealth Bank, Ballina.
15 Oct - MB drives to Ashmore, Qld to withdraw $80000. Partner accompanies her and upon returning to Cottage, he takes the money to deposit safely at the bank in Ballina, where he had prearranged a safety deposit box. The plan being, they would keep ALL THEIR money there until they were ready to depart Australia around late October.
But MB really wanted to surprise Owen for his birthday on the 18th of October; contact Sally and the family with her good news - marriage, a home in Luxembourg, being a housewife, learning languages, travelling, etc.
Marion is never seen, heard of, or heard from, again.
18 Oct - Rental house vacated, exactly 8 weeks having elapsed. It's Owen's birthday today and his mother has not contacted him.
30 Nov - RB sells Mitsubishi Magna.
Dec - deH family move from home Wollongbar to Ballina.
I believe Marion did have a valid driver's license under FNMRI don't think Marion would have driven without a valid drivers licence and insurance under any circumstances, if that is what's being suggested?
I would say if MB did return to Australia and did cancel her vehicle membership, it would be as she was tying up loose ends under the belief she would be returning to Europe to become a 'Luxembourg housewife' or maybe residing in the UK and thinking about investing in a school.

Also, I don't believe there's any way herself and RB spent substantial time together as he is in fact an intolerable pig whose lies were collapsing around him so he would have had to create a major dramatic pretense and chaos in order to avoid being around her.
IMO if she was alive and present and taking out the cash sums every day then it was because RB had instructed her that the vendor of, say, the imaginary school building (maybe a premises they had looked at in the UK) could only receive 'x amount' per day due to their personal reasons and not because in fact the bank would only allow that amount to be withdrawn daily without it flagging up to a fraud prevention team or money laundering alert or unusual transaction needing authorisation whatever the system was in Australia back then. In fact Marion may not have even known about daily withdrawal limits - she would have been doing what she was told. JMO MOO
The RACQ bank is much newer than 1997 and did not exist then. It was formed after a merger with QTMB more recently. RACQ membership in those days was much more likely to have just been a ”Roadside Assistance” service.I believe Marion did have a valid driver's license under FNMR
She cancelled the insurance on her car (assumed it was the insurance on the car)
Could she of possible had a savings account ???

EFFECTIVE DATE 14 /10/1994?View attachment 386548I believe there is only between 12 and 19 days that he would have had to be with MB and home with DDeH the rest of the time. Remember the excuses he spins - to MB, his clandestine occupation and to DDeH, going to coin auctions or assaying coins (as per Mrs Flamme's rare coin.) IMOO
I do wonder if it was cancelled when a new policy under fnmr was created? Has there been any mention of RACQ searches under the fnmr name?I believe Marion did have a valid driver's license under FNMR
