Is it possible he wanted to marry women in Bali as the marriage ceremony would not be considered lawful and legally binding? At the same time it seems like a romantic destination.

I seem to recall that this caused a problem for Jerry Hall when she wanted to divorce Mick Jagger and it transpired their marriage was never valid in the first place.

Yes, this is a good point about the Jerry Hall/Mick Jagger marriage. I also think it would be easy to set up some type of fake ceremony if you had the right contacts.

However my thinking was that Mr AKA planned to disappear before any ceremony, leaving the woman isolated in a foreign country & without the support of her family. Bali is perfect for this scenario, with regular flights from Europe and geographically close to Australia.

I visualised a woman being taken to a hotel close to Denpasar airport and being told to wait for a day or so while the wedding arrangements are finalised. Then Mr AKA heads back to the airport and jumps on the next plane to Australia…. Or if he wanted to really muddy the waters, maybe travel to Jakarta, then on to Singapore and back to Australia. MOO.

I still think RB pretended to abandon Marion in England but she followed him back, because of his psychological manipulation. The intent was to put her in a high emotional state. It was all about access to her money. IMO he knows where she is. I feel his mention of Nymboida is significant but so much of this case is muddied by RB and his constant coverups. He really must imagine himself as the smartest guy in the room. What a pathetic life.

The torture he and his possible cohorts have caused to many people around the globe is his legacy. Any funds his heirs receive could conceivably be termed as tainted and nobody really enjoys that kind of money, in the end.

At least a portion of his estate could be deemed proceeds of crime in my opinion but I’m not a lawyer. There might have to be a criminal/civil case brought against RB before any funds were declared as such.And who knows if that will ever happen.

I would love to be able to say that RB and his heirs would not benefit from his many crimes but I‘m not sure where this case is going to end. There are possibilities and every month looks more dicey for RB. But I just can’t say. There is so much more clarity around this criminal now and the information dug up by websleuthers has brought a magnifying glass to the MO and history of this POI.

He frequents Bali often, he takes some of his victims there, one of whom he travels there with and shows her the slums, the other victim he abandons there. Another he tells he will marry her there. So he isn't actually committing any crime there as far as we know..... so far.
Is he just making trails for some other thing he is hiding or just making trails back to people who aren't directly involved in his crimes....like he did with FR in Lux?

Some time ago Willy Coppenolle the artist from Bali I found on the Saatchi Art website, where he was making a comment on a piece of artwork online.

While it isn't RB, we do know this octopus USES webs of deception in his poisonous tentacles/testicles .
Could it be he is using the connection between Willy Coppenolle - (Belgium artist now living in Bali )- and his visits to Bali with some of his victims.???

I've gone way back to 1970 with the passenger card of WW leaving Aust and the hand writing with the circles over the letter I's and the swirls in the letter B's - VERY similar hand to the Departure passenger card of Fredi David in 1971.

The incoming passenger card of FredY David 1971 in a different hand, and his address of 59 Dolphin Cresent Whale Beach.

59 Whale Beach - the address he gives for his 3 month stay is an address that belongs to the Penney Family - a long line of Anabaptists.

James Penney married Edna Poole in NSW. She was a teacher as was one of her sons .

One of their sons J.( a clerk) and his wife are living at this address also when FD arrives.

3 years earlier in May 1968, a year before WW arrives in Aust there is a job advertisment placed using the same address .

Could it be Marion and Edna crossed paths during their teaching career in the Blue Mountains and a connection to RB as he is known today, was made through the funeral of Edna Penney?

Yes, Bali is just another deception. My thinking is Bali was intended to be just another line in the initial 'love bombing' - a romantic idea of a secret wedding that is used to sell the ‘new life together’ theme & to provide an excuse why the woman cannot tell her family about the relationship. In reality, he would try to limit any international travel with a victim, especially on the same flight, as there would always be a risk of detection & one of his past crimes might catch up with him.

He would only travel to Bali, as opposed to talk about how wonderful it would be to get married there, if the scam gets that far along and it is essential as part of his plan to extract the money. If he can access the money beforehand, then it would most likely be stolen during another gang attack at a local railway station or he would just disappear.

But then you have the situation with JO - where he did travel with her to Bali. However she knew him from the local Ballina coin collecting circle and according to TLV podcast her ex-husband was aware of the relationship. And she had not sold her property. But all of her documents & her title deeds were stolen after he was attacked by men with baseball bats... Maybe the attack was meant to happen in Bali but something went wrong? Although I can't see how he could sell her property without a trail leading back to him.

So yes, he is covering all bases with his scams. And if the love-bombing doesn't work, then Plan B is 'let's go into business together'.

I am intrigued by the fact the Fredy David as RB stayed at 59 Dolphin Cresent Whale Beach. The house may now be in the Penney family ownership but in 1971 it was likely in the hands of the Le Boursicot family. Only 3 years earlier an advertisment appeared in Le Courrier Australien promoting M L Boursicot's Import / Export Business from the same address. Since 2000 the Courrier Australien has been co-owned by a very reputable member of the Le Boursicot family BJY Le B. That family was also in the meat packing business just as the DDH's Walker family WAS, and possibly with links MJR (the butcher) as an alias for RB. Was Fredy David possibly scamming the Le B family, forming a partnership or perhaps just a family friend. Both RB and MLB mentioned they were polyglottes in their advertisments.IMO
