She didn't help him with his coin business as she knows nothing of that. He did ask her to pick up some coin catalogues. He told her he was a BANK MANAGER, didn't say which bank unfortunately. Didn't tell her where he lived in Australia. Didn't tell her that he was married, not at all. Absolutely not, he didn't tell her he had any children.
He told her that they would get married in a resort - some confusion over the location - in Bali, Indonesia. She accepted his invitation to marry because she was fond of him and wanted to live in Australia. He had told her they would live together in Australia and she was willing to do that as long as she could return to Europe from time to time to see her children and also provided her children could come to visit in Australia.
Only when G insisted on it and asked for clarification, 'Frederick' agreed to meet with her children, he didn't want her to tell them about the marriage. He attempted to deter her by saying it would be more fun to tell them after they were married - and that is exactly why she did not accept. They arranged for a meal in Brussels and that's when he met her children. G told them she was going to marry Frederick and go to live in Australia. They were, of course, very surprised and astonished. They didn't tell her not to marry as they love her very much and let her free to do as she wants since their father died.
In preparation for the marriage, F asked her to sell her house then asked her to give him all the money so he could open bank accounts in his bank for her children - four children, four separate accounts - so when they visited G they could find their money in their own accounts. F took steps to sell her house. She wants to add, he took advantage of the love she had for her children to steal her money.
She hadn't sold her house, as her son who lived in France told her of a house for sale near him, she was thinking of giving the money to him and at this point F realised he wasn't going to get the money so he left. G hadn't actually informed F the proceeds of the sale would go to the son and therefore he (F) would not get the money. She didn't understand anything. It was only at the meal organised by her son and his partner that she began to understand things. Prior to this (the meal and realisation) she had arranged for money from her bank accounts and investments, supposedly for the accounts for her children in his bank in Australia, F came with her and each time he wanted her to give him the money 'under the table'.
