I also wish Marion’s Boyd paintings could be traced/found.... doubt it of course but sometimes I imagine one of the public house pics from real estates of the past have a boyd hanging on the wall!!
There is no trace of the tea chests ? Nobody knows if they went to Europe with her? Or left behind in an unknown location ?Goodness..... this helps me with my theory of the tea chests having some vital piece of the puzzle and why mr Blum bothered mentioning them at all, thanks housemartyn.
MB’s Jamie Boyd art was numbered. SL and MB’s ex husband (who she was married to when she purchased it) have no idea of the number between 1-100. SL contacted Jamie Boyd Art, they have no register of who purchased what numbers. You would think there would be a database of artworks etc - or if media mentioned it someone may come forward saying I have that painting etc

Or he’d only just remember that MB gave it to him. With his problem memory and all that stuff.Even if they found the same Jamie Boyd work hanging at RBs, they wouldn't be able to prove it was Marion's.
Unless she put her name on the back of it. Or had it engraved.
Or the number was found somewhere.
Or unless they could somehow get her DNA from it. Or maybe the DNA or fingerprints of someone who helped pack it.
Or anyone known to Marion who ever touched it.
I'm ruling out her fingerprints as I'm just assuming she'd never been fingerprinted.
Come to think of it, is it out of the question that RB has ever been fingerprinted ?
And do his prints still exist somewhere.
If any fingerprints or DNA connected to Sally or family or friends was found, his bluff would be called bigtime.Or he’d only just remember that MB gave it to him. With his problem memory and all that stuff.

hey there, yep for me no trace of these chests and where went, but it just has always niggled at me why mr Blum even mentioned them.... of course he is full ofThere is no trace of the tea chests ? Nobody knows if they went to Europe with her? Or left behind in an unknown location ?
A sleuth found one for auction at a Southport auction house last year. I think they were trying to track its ownerI also wish Marion’s Boyd paintings could be traced/found.... doubt it of course but sometimes I imagine one of the public house pics from real estates of the past have a boyd hanging on the wall!!
That would be amazing! This awful story has so many twists and turns, it's hard to remember every detail that everyone who was ever mentioned said.
I would say it's impossible unless you are some kind of memory genius.
Like those who have Hyperthymesia
Hyperthymesia is an ability that allows people to remember nearly every event of their life with great precision.
Or spend 24 hours a day keeping notes of it all, right down to the smallest detail.
Sally's post on FB 15Jun had info on the postmarks of the postcards and letter from Marion, decoded for when processed etc. There is no mention on SL's post of any outstanding anomalies such as cards processed a month after MB's return to Aus, so I had thought the scenario of someone else sending cards had been discounted. I think because he knew if his house was searched, it was possible they might find something that belonged to Marion.hey there, yep for me no trace of these chests and where went, but it just has always niggled at me why mr Blum even mentioned them.... of course he is full of *advertiser censored* but......
Agree. It was no accidental slip of the tongue he mentioned it.I think because he knew if his house was searched, it was possible they mind find something that belonged to Marion.
Maybe he wasn't sure if he hadn't kept something.
Or maybe he knew for sure he had. And that's why he had to admit to police that yes he had met Marion and that she had come to his home.
And so the story about Marion leaving her belongings at his house, the pilot etc.

I am still gobsmacked that he would admit to meeting Marion.
I don't think they had enough on him. He could have just kept denying.
Instead he made himself the centre of attention.
